I had the same opportunity as you. Same using acellus. I do the same thing as you I work everyday. No matter if it’s spring brake or not. Now I am a junior and I am purposely working a lot under my limit for one reason. There are so many opportunities with programs that pay for themselves if I am in high school. For example I am getting my boat license free of charge just because I am a good student in high school. As soon as I graduate I’ll have to pay for my classes to get my license. That’s the only reason I haven’t graduated yet. Even though I want to graduate really bad, I would lose so much money if I did. It’s funny how that works.
You are smart! Get all the perks of being a high schooler then graduate! I love how flexible the program is so you can do what works for you! Good job!

I am not. I have friends who graduated early and they could apply for college.
Hey! Thanks for this video I was looking everywhere for this kind of vid. I’ve been in online school since grade 6 and now I’m in grade 10 and I have no extracurriculars since I live outside of where my online school is located. I’m getting worried about what I’ll put on my university applications in terms of extracurriculars. What do you suggest I do? What have you done for extracurriculars and are you planning on going to university?
I am starting at the Fashion Institute of Technology this week. I did dance as extracurricular and volunteered at my church. What are you interested in? You could pretty much pick what you want to do. That is the beauty of homeschool. I was worried because I have been out of school for 2 years that a college wouldn’t like that but FIT had no problem with it. They seemed to respect that I finished early.
I’ve been waiting for another person that uses Acellus. I use Power Homeschool with Acellus. I’m trying to knock out 7th grade on speed run and I’m only halfway though one of my classes in October. 😅 excited to get to 8th somewhat early 😂

@@makayla._.andrews yes! I saw your TikTok like a hour ago searching “how to finish Acellus early” and that’s my plan! Sadly my state is strict about homeschooling some the attendance thing has to be given to the board. I think I can still finish early

Hi, I am so interested to enroll in acellus but I wanted to ask you first how the program works I know you do it whenever u want but I think I saw something that said your parents have to give choose the lessons that you’ll be having and does acellus even answers emails? I have been trying to reach them and they haven’t answered, and something else I am in 10th grade rn so I would like to start by 11th next (next year) so if it’s like that after you pay you choose the grade or your parents choose what lessons I’m just confused, loved it video btw and congrats!! 🎊🩵
My mom did all the enrolling so I don’t know much about that. They normally answered her emails. Your parents have to pick the classes and you have to make sure you get all the required credits. Once you get signed up, the rest is pretty easy. I never actually spoke to anyone. They did respond to email. Everything else was done online. Are you one TikTok or instagram. im quite late but were there any live classes or youre just given the materials and learn it? also, is it possible to do all the courses in a year or 2 and get ur diploma?
It was online classes and yes you can work as fast as you like. I did a lot during covid because everything was closed. As long as you do the required hours, you can get your diploma. Well and get good grades too.
Do you apply to university/college right away. If not, what do you do after when you're waiting.
I did not. I spent the time building my business.
This is what I want for my son. Him to graduate early to focus on being an entrepreneur 💜

I took normal classes.
Did they send you the pink graduation gown or you just got it?
We got a white one of Amazon and dyed it. They only send the diploma
Do you know if you can transfer credits from power homeschool to acellus academy?
I started 9th grade so I am not a sure about transferring but I bet you can. I think they used my prior homeschool records and age to determine my level.
Did you attent the graduation ceremony they hold or no
I did not. I went on a Disney cruise for graduation instead

You have to complete all the hours. I just worked during breaks and summer to finish. I finished high school on 2 1/2 years

Yes it was 2 1/2 really. I spend a lot of the pandemic shut down doing extra school work.
How many credits did you have ? And how did you see it ?
I don’t remember the details. It has been 2 years at this point. Whatever the high school credit requirements were is what I got.

Sorry this is late
I did some research and people say that they got their diploma through the mail and that it’ll take awhile to arrive so don’t stress about it coming a bit late! You can also contact headquarters if you think it’s taking too long to arrive! 🫶🏽
They mailed it to me after submitting for graduation approval.
Yes that is right. I submitted for my diploma. They verified I had all my class requirements and hours then the mailed it.
