Actually, I just drove through Idaho, Utah, and Arizona and at least one of them had signs posted at regular intervals about how the inside lane was for passing only. Maybe they added them after dealing with people like this. 😀

I am getting a body camera to record all the harassment I have to deal with every day at work. I work at retail, the most annoying work.
By the other hand, the traffic was heavy and cars were not moving.... Sounds like he was looking for someone just to give a ticket... Easy revenue for the county... He could be solving the issue that is causing the heavy traffic to begin with....
When he says "endangering everyone's life" by texting on a traffic jam it is a long stretch. Unless she was driving a truck full of explosives... Or a Ford Pinto.

I'm a student hoping to go into policing after i graduate and I'm taking a criminal justice class through my local tech center. I can tell you from experience you would not believe how many times we use that exact phrase lol 😂😂😂 cracks me up every time.

I think they were made to hurt , no matter what. I've experienced them 1 time in my life. I was completely compliant and had no issues with the arresting officers, but my wrists were actually messed up for a week or so from the positioning sitting in the back of the sun. They suck...for real. I can't imagine how much it must hurt to go crazy like some of these people and get tackled and shit. I wouldn't have any skin left on my wrists...

The fact that the white dog in the back seat was so calm while his two parents were screaming just goes to show how chaotic and loud they always are. Poor thing.

It was clearly stated the the CALMNESS OF THE DOG in this situation, where but are shoutung and yelling, shows how the pet is used to this situation, because otherwise dogs are barking and acting nervous, even after the window of the car was broken and guy pulled out of his car. This is an extremly unsusal behaviour of a dog in an "unknown" situation for him. Not more, not less the poster said.

That was disturbing. And no doubt that they would not even hesitate to call the cops if they were in trouble though. So wrong.
I mean, have a laugh about it because its a funny situation, but help that person and laugh afterwards together. You have done something good, you have a thankful person and a potentially fun situation shared together that strengthens the relationship between people and police.
All this now did, was that the policeofficer will hate people more, is disillusioned and also ridiculed, while none of the people around had any gain of this.
But lets be frank, the situation would likely not happen that way, if the relationship between police and society wasnt so overly soured by police actions of the past.
The police doesnt have the credibility and positive image of the helpful service, its viewed as a threat and enemy.
Im not saying the officer deserved the situation, but im saying that this situation is a good way to see the current state of the relationship between society and police.
And in that sense, it doesnt surprise me that there are people not helping a police officer and thats a sad depiction of how bad it really is.

Im sorry bro, but it doesn’t make you a Karen to stand up to a lying tyrant with a badge. Seemed to me the whole stop was made cause the cop got his feeling hurt. Then they broke his window and beat up and arrested the guy for further hurting his feelings. That guy did not hit that cop and he was being a complete unprofessional baby. Regardless if the driver was a jerk or not, a police officer shouldn’t make up such accusations and I hope charges were dropped or lessened. And you shouldn’t condone unprofessional situation escalating officers.

I didn’t see him hit the cop when he pulled off, who do you think shattered his window? That means they drug him out of the car and the passenger said beat him up. All over him driving off aggressively. Very rude behavior but well within the law and rights. The cop had to lie and call it assault so that he could show who the boss is. That is wrong and unprofessional. Also, I heard mention from audio that the whole stop was because he was disrespectful to the cop. Disrespect is not a law.

Every time Karen told me I couldn't arrest her, later on in the booking area I made sure to ask her if she still thought she was exempt, usually right after her cavity search.

What surprises me the most is sometimes how tolerant the cops can be when they're insulted and provoked. I guess that isn't always the case but it still amazes me how cool they can be when under that type of pressure.

One thing that really gives me road rage is someone in the left lane going the same speed as the person in the right lane and refuses to pass them and move out of the way. What makes it worse is when they're texting or talking on the phone.

I grew up in a small town in Kansas where anyone who acted like this got punched.
Almost everyone was very polite.
A man called my mom a b****h because she was walking too slow through the parking lot, so my dad punched the guy. When the cops arrived and found out the guy had called my mom a bad name, they let my dad go.

What bothers me is those that say "do you really not have anything better to do than....." Um it's their job to pull you over when you're driving with your face buried in your phone. Do you know how many accidents are caused by people texting/scrolling/etc and driving? My husband and son were rear-ended, luckily gently and no damage, by a lady who admitted that she didn't realized they stopped because she was on her phone. Of course she didn't want a police report, not that he was going to since his truck didn't have damage but her van had a hole in the bumper from his trailer hitch. So sad that people think they are being picked on because they got caught. You got busted for doing something you know you shouldn't, take the ticket like an adult and move on.
Do you know how many TOTALLY INNOCENT PEOPLE are killed each year by these dunderheads with badges risking EVERYONES life on the road for nothing more than their ego?!?!?! Half of ALL on the job deaths of cops are due to traffic accidents and MOST of those are the fault of the OFFICER, not the innocent people they hit!!! Did you not see the recent headlines where a moron cop ran a red light and took out an ENTIRE FAMILY??? Husband wife and child!!!! Or how about where they were chasing a teen, knew who he was and where he lived but chased him so hard he wrecked and the 3 teen girls with him died. And for what???? Because the cops are on a TOTAL power trip and MUST BE OBEYED AT ALL TIMES, AT ALL COSTS!!! Our police budget is greater than most countries and of the richer countries we spend more on LEO and LAWSUITS than they do on their MILITARY!!! I however, never once said cops are not at fault ever, yes there are bad cops but in this instance, I was mearly stating that some people get caught red-handed and instead of just being an adult about it, they have to cause scenes and blame everyone but themselves.
In Ontario you are not allowed to have a trailer hitch in place unless you are using it.
I mean a "pintle" type hitch that most trucks use now.
I suppose the law is meant to avoid the damage like the "hole" in the bumper you describe and to allow the vehicle crumple zones to work properly in a crash.

@@cdnskiiertracker1058 well, for one we don't live somewhere where it's illegal and the hitch only barely sticks out passed his bumper. As for the crumple zones, isn't that what they are for?? Should anyone hit him hard enough for his hitch to go further than the bumper, it would hit the radiator or engine block. And if it goes further than that, then the hitch is the least of anyone's worries. Fact is, she got close enough to damage her vehicle because she was on the phone. Had he not had the hitch, both vehicles would have had damage. Stop blaming the victim.

For those who are questioning the 6th, the officer is referring to the posted speed limit (in this case: 75MPH/120KMH) on and highway/interstate is a mid-limit. The left lane ,also known as the passing/fast lane, is for vehicles going the speed limit or “legally” 5 above to pass those who are or cannot go said speed limit. To remain in the left lane cruising at the mid-limit (posted speed limit) on a highway is considered as traffic impediment if the driver does not comply with the rules of the road to allow the faster vehicles to pass. There are no signs due to this law is being taught in driver’s training as a law.
What state is that? Seems weird to me. If the limit is 75, how could anyone need to pass someone driving 75?

75 miles an hour is static. If you're running 75 miles an hour you are just as fast as a car going 75 miles an hour.
Smaller cars can accelerate at a faster rate, but 75 miles an hour is literally just 75 miles an hour.

There is an entire manual that you must learn to pass the driving written test. They don't post all of those rules on the side of every road. Otherwise, there would be lots more accidents as people try to read them.
The thing is, the guy has a point. The "fast lane" is the lane where people go 75. There is NO LANE for people to break the law and speed. He could fight that ticket in court. If he's doing the speed limit and is holding up traffic, she needs to go after the speeders behind him, not HIM. He is under no obligation to allow people to break the law. If they're passing people by speeding, they are breaking the law and are not entitled to any lane on the road.

@@brandonhebert5485 Not true even if he is going the speed limit in the fast lane, the rules say he needs to move over. And the law says it is for “passing only” so he has to move over. It is not upon him or you or me on the others behind him on whether they go fast or not. You need to read the driving laws again

Left lane is for passing, right lane is for cruising. Its basic rule for driving in highway. That guy was just playing dumb to evade the punishment. The officer was so nice and have so much patience.

Commenters berated the cammer for hanging out in the left lane but he replied that under State law, he could drive in that lane and that unless the road was specifically marked as 'slower traffic keep right.'
Aside from that specific incident, in general, if the speed limit is 75 and the left lane driver IS going 75.....then there is no foul and indeed one could argue that anyone passing is speeding.
I am just saying that for the sake of argument; I agree with you that basic courtesy says get into the right lane unless you're passing.
