I don't think nostalgia has anything to do with it. I love both games for different reasons. The original is more campy, while the remake takes itself more serious. So it really is down to who likes what feeling more. It is okay for people to sincerely like the original more. People can have different opinions. 😂

I wasn't sure about the supporting characters, except Ashley, yet. Second playthrough, where I was able to concentrate on them more, and I prefer this version. I'm dying for Capcom and Nintendo to add it to the Switch as a cloud-based game like they did with RE2R and RE3R.
