In pure modern fashion they HAVE to make Ada get "even" with Leon by saving him back. Like every time we have a damsel in distress these days its either she saves herself or their is some contrived circumstance dug up for the women to get "even" in some way. Like the karma from tying her up must reach some sort of payback against the Universe for daring to put her in a position that required male assistance. Gotta love modern entertainment dontcha?

Leon Kennedy dodging lasers never gets old, but Ada dodging lasers is more suitable, due to how nimble she is. Chris and Jill dodging lasers looks alright, simple, but not too flashy and athletic.

I Like the Remake

In the remake it was thanks to the ritual that this time Ashley remained her conciousness . Because it's explained in the OG that Salazar wanted her to become one of them , having absolute controll like them . And Leon got really lucky that those two enemies decided to stand right next to him and then Saddler simply leaving . In the OG the ritual was over because it didn't happen . Remember how Ashley found the butlers note in her own level ? The game never shows it but there is a possibility that Ashley herself called Salazar out with that note , making him so angry that he canceled the ritual and was okay with Ashley becoming Saddlers puppet . Ashley already cought up blood the second time meaning she was already a stage ahead from Leon and we also see that the parasite shuts of her consciousness . That's why Leon was still lagging . Plus Saddler wanted to keep Leon as a puppet , that's why he was patient with him .

My parents were in the living room at the part were Leo removes the parasite from Ashley in re 4 remake...if you know,you know .for those who Dont know (It was awkward asf)
