mate what a fantastic video this is how i remember banger racing. its nothing like that these days maybe the rules have to be made less harsh and bring back the good old days. if you have anymore like this get em posted on here.
I agree. I drove a couple of Bomber meetings at Hendesford including a DD back then and when I saw Phill Bell coming at me the wrong way in his Jag i nearly pissed myself with fear.
some wicked hits going on there on and of the track. love the guy in the stock car haven a moment when he try's to reverse over the other guy and he has to jump in the back classic! there where lots of fights back then when the rivals met remember when i was a kid going down to the pits at ipswich when the S! met the EA! and sit and watch it all kick of ! not so bad these days but still happens from time to time!
Hello, I dont suppose anybody has any video of the Bombers for the 1990 season - I was racing then and was too broke to pay for the videos at the time? I raced as number 20, Raced with 38 Kinghorn, 295 Heywood, 1 Hertzog and many, many others.....
Plenty of spins and rolls then. Now it's all follow-ins which has become boring in my view. They seriously got stuck in whilst actually racing back in the day!
