    This is awesome that you guys and HiKOKI did this, and hope it motivates more people to build things.
    For many years all I used was a hand saw and drill. Am fortunate to have a nice shop like yours now, but it shouldn't dissuade or stop those who don't.

      Couldn’t agree more. I hate it when people feel discouraged by watching people who have better or more tools. The important thing is to approach things by thinking “how can I do that with what I have” and there’s nearly always a way! 👍

    Good job I Like these Keith. I’m always a bit jealous when tool companies give you tubers all these tools. This isn’t a dig at you, You deserve them and I love your content, but having spent £1000’s on Dewalt tools as a plumber over the years it’s like where’s our wee freebie.

      Yeah, I’m very fortunate to be in a position to be given them for free, and to have such an amazing tool manufacturer supporting my channel. I like to see it as a nice supplement to UA-cam ad revenue though which is very much needed. Honestly if it wasn’t for Patreon and support from HiKOKI I wouldn’t still be doing it, it just wouldn’t be financially viable

    Great video. Thanks for sharing. Good idea to show and point out again that it's not necessary to have tons of tools to have a project done. I do not have a plainer, joiner,
    table saw and many other tools. But I do have (nearly) all the tools you used in the videos (other brands, though) I see limitations in my attempts to make something more
    as a problem of lacking skills and experience (tools don't do anything alone, if you don't know to work with them).
    One thing I missed at the end of the video. Mostly you mention it, now you did not. How much time did you spend on making the three cat bed cabinets together?
    Or did you forget to count it this time?

    Hmmm.... sorry Keith, but this is the very first of your videos that I've thumbed down. Not being critical of your skills and workmanship (that's great) just not a fan of these "types" of video

    • @RagnBoneBrown
      @RagnBoneBrown  5 років тому

      Care to elaborate?

    • @shane555
      @shane555 5 років тому +1

      @JSTR chill, no need for an overreaction. It's not my first comment and probably won't be my last, it's simply the first video that Keith's put out that I've felt the need to "thumb down". That is all.
      I'm not criticising, which you perhaps would have realised, had your first reaction not be to assume I'm a "Troll". From my perspective (as a long-time subscriber to Keith's channel) I'm simply not enjoying brand sponsored/focused videos as much as his earlier videos, that is all.
      I see it as a slippery slope if you will, a direction many UA-camrs take that, in my opinion, detracts from what these channels set out to be in the first place, to share knowledge, showcase craftsmanship and provide an enjoyable experience watching someone with skill make something useful or beautiful.
      I'm not even sure why I'm even trying to explain myself to you, an annoyed stranger, in the comments section of a UA-cam video!? I fear it's all in vain and will undoubtedly fall on deaf ears...
      It's clear only swooning and fawning comments, heaping praise etc. are acceptable in your eyes, apologies for trying to be constructive 😊👍

    • @shane555
      @shane555 5 років тому

      @@RagnBoneBrown that question of yours has only just come through Keith, please see my reply to your "keyboard bodyguard" above fella.
      As you ask though, in reality, if I had a UA-cam Maker channel and a brand like Hikoki wanted to collaborate, then who knows, I may do exactly the same.
      However, having said that, I dont think you need to. Your content is good enough already and your channel is improving over time, without any of these types of video.
      It was meant as an opinion, and hopefully a constructive one. If it's taken differently, it may be down to the way I delivered it, or (as seen from the other replier) it's simply a case of constructive criticism not being welcome.
      Hey, we could all pretend everything everyone does is amazing and keep our 'negatuve' comments to ourselves, but then where would we all be....

    • @shane555
      @shane555 5 років тому

      @JSTR Still not a Troll, but I'll let you believe what your tiny mind wants to believe.
      I guess I originally thought me saying "type" of video was enough as it was clear what I was referring g to, hence me not originally going into too much detail. Perhaps you just read it literally as written, hence your response, I understand now how you processed it.
      I assumed Keith would have known what I meant as well, taken that info on board and dealt with it as he saw fit - ignore it or bear it in mind.
      You see, it was really a thinly disguised constructively critical comment designed to be of assistance, that is, until you jumped in there 😂

    • @RagnBoneBrown
      @RagnBoneBrown  5 років тому +3

      Yeah I understand what you’re saying, but also I need to make a living ✌️as a viewer I enjoy non sponsored content more too but it’s not a perfect world
