    Simpol as A,B,C..👍.. before, i really hate cooking, but since i have watched the videos of chef Tatung, i already embraced cooking 😅😁🤣,, and this menu was great!! I tried many ways of cooking of Caldereta but chef Tatung's version i liked most.. simpol pero rock!! ❤️

    I searched other recipes for Caldereta and I have to say that yours sound the best because you marinate the beef 1st and you fry the potatoes. I'm making it right now and so far...the sauce is FANTASTIC!!! Thank you so much.

    So I finished cooking it and it was absolutely delicious!! Marinating the meat makes a big difference. I did leave out the liver and olives. Thank you so much Chef from Texas.

      delete the oregano cheese and pickles, its even better. i kept the liver spread.

    I made this today. Oh my goodness! May Sabroso! My first attempt in making Beef Calderera and I'm glad it was a success 😊 Marinating the beef prior to cooking really brings out the best flavor of the meat, and frying the potatoes made its texture more delicious.

    I don't cook always, first time ko po nag luto ng kaldareta para po sa Pasko...at sinundan ko po recipe at procedure nyo, it turns out so good...nagustuhan po ng mga bisita ko....maraming salamat po...pati po yung lumpia recipe nyo sinundan ko... ang sarap😍

    Yes..that's how my late Mom use to do it..fry the potatoes first..some olives .but I go for your using chopped fresh liver than the canned liver spread🙂..healthy cooking ..so simpol, indeed! Thank you so much, Chef! ❤️

    I now have my own version of caldereta but it’ all started from your recipe ✨ marinating the meat with soy sauce and calamansi pala makes a great difference. Ang bango bango huhu ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Chef, may I know why you used chicken liver instead of pork liver like the one in can? What are the differences if we used pork liver? Thank you!

      Pork liver, when cooked, has a rougher texture while chicken liver will be softer and a bit more powdery.
      If you overcook chicken liver, it can still be saved. We would mash the liver with a knife, crack in an egg and cook it all up. As pork liver is tougher to handle, we will stir-fry simply or even make pig liver soup - but if we do this, we cannot just wash the liver and put it in. We will need to poach the liver first, wash it, then put it in the soup.

    Hi Chef! I'm not a fan of the taste of liver. Is the taste very pronounced in the final dish? Btw, I bought your cookbook and everything I've tried has turned out delicious.
