एक देश, एक खाना, एक कपड़ा, एक टैक्स, एक धर्म, एक बोली और एक भाषा वाली मौजूदा सरकार को गीतांजलि श्री की उपलब्दि से कोई खास प्रसन्नता नहीं हुई. उन्हें गीतांजलि श्री की हिंदी से शायद परहेज है, इसीलिए प्रधानमंत्री और उनके पूरे मंत्रिमंडल ने गीतांजलि श्री को बधाई देना मुनासिब नहीं समझा.
उधर फिल्म स्टार शाहरुख खान के बेटे #AryanKhan को ड्रग मामले में क्लीनचिट मिल गई. क्लीन आर्यन खान हुए और गंदगी खबरिया चैनलों के मुंह पर पुत गई. इन्हीं तमाम मसलों पर इस हफ्ते की टिप्पणी.

Thanks a lot for pointing out that the age of marriage was much lower than 18 years merely 150 years back in India and it was culturally accepted. Despite the age of marriage being changed as per law people in rural areas still marry their girls at a quite young age. Instead of selectively using past examples to stir toxicity, one should focus on current issues.
Deeply saddened to know about the poor woman in the end. If women are not safe in their own homes, what kind of society and culture is it? Such men claim to get Hindu glory back. Decent people can decide if they really want such men to rule their society.

I'm frustrated by what's happening around, I don't even debate with anyone anymore about the future of our country, coz honestly, I don't know where this is all heading.
Now, I love you guys for being such an amazing critique, about our country's bloody top news channels... but let me say this too, in our great India we got 392 news channels (basically top in the world). From this small percentage, you guys are feeding on not more than 3-5%(approx) of the whole lot, to keep YOUR game going. Now compare this to the large picture, I would say, you are missing out on the real gold mine!
Why don't you plan to / your channel for all of our 28 + 8 states? We need guys like you who can actually help the mass realize that what's happening around is nothing but a joke with respect to how we want to see ourselves, as Indians from this great diverse nation?
I request your planning team to not just focus on your "TARGET MARKET" who watches you and "pays to keep it f**e". You guys need to do the unthinkable and undone. When the next generation comes into power, I wish to see a hundred Abhinandan's, Atul's, Chitranshu's, Madhu's, Manisha's, Raman's, Veena's, Meghnad's (and the rest of the sailors). Atul, Abhinandan, Manisha and entire NL team the point made above is valid to.make your footprint across all state capitals atleast as suggested here. So by virtue of living abroad for over 20 years now I add to what is said here which can not only be accomplished but also generates revenue for NL's functioning. Here I will give the latedt example of NYT whose story aboutvShishodia's work was carried by Khaleej Times and IE. So, my suggestion is tie up learning from NYT allowing State capital and District level social media groups to use your stories and let their viewers & subscribers joun you in return. In ling run many from them will besifes subscribing directly or through "franchised channels" will also contribute monetarily as well when they will see how truthful your ground reporting is.
