Really interested in PXN's future because we could really use some more competitive budget wheels and we can't just stick with the G920 and/or G29 forever.
I have used two v9 wheels. A few years ago my friend bought one new and it left a bit to be desired. I have recently bought one myself, and think they have upped the quality quite a bit. The off-steering can easily be fixed now, and my shifter has no noticable wobble. Only the pedals are sprung way too softly, though with a bit of practice I was able to work around that. Even though it has no force feedback, I think it handles quite well in games like the Dirt franchise, F1 and Eurotruck. Have yet to try more games, but so far I'm impressed.
Very impressive for the price this will probably be the new king for entry level wheels mainly due to the fact that the pedals actually have decent travel and adjustable spring tension and it comes with a shifter. As for the brake people will probably find a replacement spring to swap it with to make it stiffer. Im glad to see a company actually putting effort into the pedals since they are the most important piece of equipment for simracing and previously you had to spend at least $200 for a half decent set. I obviously wont be buying it since I already have a direct drive wheel and clubsport pedals but I wish they had something like this when I first got into sim racing.

The V10 is actually a rebrand madcatz product from the early 2012's. Love the multi console compatibiliy. Emulate this level of flexibility on any direct drive wheel and they will dominate the market in the years to come 😎
@@IBuiltDaArk Correct but considerig that this wheel has both xbox and playstation compatibility out of the box is something of a refresher. Can beat that I have an idea on how the had pulled it off but I need to open one of these guys to find out.
@@chadog it's easy to make it compatible with both. However, the problem is if you license it as Xbox or PS, sometimes the companies don't want that feature enabled at all cause, money For example internally there's nothing preventing a Logitech G29 from working with an Xbox, it's just a matter of drivers/firmware.
@@IBuiltDaArk Until you consider the fact that a chinese company managed to do both. Fanatec pulled off a licensing loophole by putting the xbox firmware onto the wheelrims themselves. Thats a good comromise but still a hassle nonetheless. I hope other chinese brands follow suit
IT IS NOT CONSOLE COMPATIBLE. It uses a controller connection for the buttons on the wheel to work, and it has input delay (it like disconnects between every button) And the clutch basically doesnt exists. (on xbox series s)
Pricing on these in asia is really hard to beat at 220usd. Was keen on getting the T300RS at first but not so sure about playing more than double for just slightly better experience. Really hope the V11 would have better compatibility.
the t3oors is much better. don't buy anything with either helical gears or hybrid gear belt. i know because i have a logitech driving force gt and tried a friends t500 and now i can see the difference. it's motivated me to upgrade to a dd system.
*BE WARNED, THIS IS AN 8 YEAR OLD WHEEL!* Its identical to the discontinued Mad Catz Pro Racing Wheel from 2014, they've just updated the drivers to work on all platforms and made some slight aesthetic changes. I had the original when it came out. Overall it was pretty good... but that was by 2014 standards. Main complaints were the FFB was quite "clunky" and the suede wheel is really poor, after a while it'll be completely ruined unless you wear gloves.
Not the perfect wheel but I had mine for 100 bucks aftermarket in great conditions and I cannot complain about it for the price ! it's a very good wheel ! the brake pedal can be modded easily by adding a stronger and shorter spring in addition of the stock spring. Obviously, if you tried some 17nm of torque wheel before, it's gonna be like you drive a 55hp Fiat Panda next having drove a 700hp Ferrari. But for someone who doesnt have a huge budget and wants to discover sim racing, I must to say this wheel is a true bargain, especially if you had it for low price aftermarket. It's better than my old logitech g25 imho ( A good entry level wheel Imho ) but which is the same price aftermarket of the pxn v10... So i think the PXN v10 is better. We'll see in the future if it's holding time...but it seems to be solid. Very strong except for the shifter
Got this wheel 2-3 days, Got it with the Xbox series s, Had trouble on Forza Horizon 5 with the wheel not being centered and the buttons having input delay, Updated it with a firmware from PXN directly, only problem im having is non existent clutch and input delay on buttons on wheel. Maybe on PC this would work great but on Xbox im having trouble.

Saw this on a platform and I was shocked. Pedals and shifter Included, even the wheel is fully covered. My T150 paddle shift rusted after months, and I smell some sort of fried burning inside my wheel when I'm playing long hours. Do I even want to send it back and have them replace? Think about the cost of post from where I'm at and that's what makes me feel disappointed with my T150.
I had the same problems with my t150 and then switched to t300. But the T300 fan sucks and the FFB fades after 1 hour of driving and that is so dissapointing. Totally ruins the experience
So, let's make something clear. As how some guys commented, yes, this is a rebranded Mad Catz Pro Steering wheel, wich I also own, and I have had issues with the windows driver. Unfortunately you missed a point here wich you didn't mentioned, you can adjust the steering wheel vertical angle from the wheelbase from the small screws, wich for the other mid range wheels you can't! I made the mistake to buy the Logitech G920, such a stupid thing... The wheel base has a stupid high angle and with the time you will feel pain in your wrists.
I get so many questions about this haha. Not sure on the exact model, but I’m sure you’ll find it if you google “Ferrari puma shoes” or something similar.
Wait the same steering wheel works for both Xbox and ps4? You don’t need to purchase two; one for each system? This is the only wheel in the entire market that does that.

In canada both thrustmaster and Logitech sim wheels only come with the wheel and 2 pedalsat this price point I payed 450 cad for my thrustmaster tmx ffb wheel and it only came with 2 pedals and a wheel not even considering the fact that the pedals return sprigs broke not even a week after getting it and the wheel cannot use 30% ffb or it makes some horrible grinding noise I think the pros wayyyyy outweigh the cons for pxn I'm definitely buying one even if it may have some issues
Bought a T300 RS a while ago, now I wish I would have waited a bit and bought this! edit: I have small hands so the sizing of the wheel doesn't really matter.
i dont think you realize how good the t300 base is especially if your drifting. the v10 is just a rebrand madcatz wheel which didint get great reviews at the time as its competor was the g25 or g27.
I was on board until you mentioned the wheel is smaller. I have a thrustmaster t-80 and it might be fisher price sized but it gets me around the track. Still, I want something adult-sized!!!!!

The ffb I think just a software issues. Idk I already sold mine before any update. I use t300rs + pxn h shifter now. It's a sweet spot for me. Not planning to upgrade to DD soon.
adding spring preload does not adjust spring rate(make it stiffer) only makes it so you have to add more pressure before it moves.
Mmmm nobody asked

@@HelloKurseoil up I'll be there in five😊

“…but compared to wheels without force feedback, it will be a massive difference.”
Yikes.
Not what you wanna hear regarding your first sim racing hardware offering.
Great review as always. Your content is so well produced.
We got it because it was a reasonable price better then other ones I have saw
The V10 is actually a rebrand madcatz product from the early 2012's. Love the multi console compatibiliy.
Emulate this level of flexibility on any direct drive wheel and they will dominate the market in the years to come 😎
All the fanatec stuff is cross-compatible, just depends on what wheel you buy.
It's not up to the manufacturers, it's mainly due to licensing/branding
@@IBuiltDaArk Correct but considerig that this wheel has both xbox and playstation compatibility out of the box is something of a refresher. Can beat that
I have an idea on how the had pulled it off but I need to open one of these guys to find out.
@@chadog it's easy to make it compatible with both. However, the problem is if you license it as Xbox or PS, sometimes the companies don't want that feature enabled at all cause, money
For example internally there's nothing preventing a Logitech G29 from working with an Xbox, it's just a matter of drivers/firmware.
Please do a quarterly 'best gear for 3 budget categories'. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW!!!
Thanks for that.
How much cost the Mad Catz 2014 wheel today?
It's not completely identical, they changed the internals
@@shim2822 It was discontinued so very hard to find. Used there's one for about $100 atm.
It's selling for $250 at Microcenter right now.
@@EazyDuz18 why
I think Forza is just strict with the wheels.

I can't believe around 90% of the people watching don't subscribe when your content is of SO good quality, man. Congratulations. I always enjoy your videos, and I don't even have a sim rig or plan on having one (at least soon), but the pace and quality of filming/editing makes your videos so enjoyable. Don't change, bud! Keep up the great work!
Regarding the wheel, it looks good but I think some of the mentioned problems are deal breaker for adults, especially the wheel size and paddle shifters close to the rim. But the fact that it comes complete with a 3 pedal set and the H shifter reminds me of the good old G27 times haha!
Think its because most search up review for something, and just watch the video and leave and never watch him again.
why would I subscribe when a quick look through his recent videos page has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I'm interested in. It's all gear review. I have the gear I want and am gonna keep for a long time. No need for gear reviews of low-mid tier gear when I have tier 1 gear that'll last me years. Give me some actual racing content or new technology and maybe I'm okay with it. THE ONLY reason I clicked this video is because it's a new wheel I've never seen and it was on my front page. Very unlikely I'll ever watch another one of his videos
@@quistador7 thanks for the insight on your particular situation! Just bought this for Forza seems promising for the price, I'm not hardcore Into the racing sim side of gaming but maybe that will change after I get this
i have a pxn v10 myself and do have a problem with the pedalshift catching my finger, but I fixed it by swapping the hand clutch and the shifter position. no more red fingers for me
i would love to see this wheel put head to head against the g920/ g29

@OCRacing still waiting on this vs the g920/go923😢😂😢
im buying this pxn v10 for my first set up. im no pro. but with the benefits of having everything im looking for for a good price i think i can get over the small wheel or one day upgrade that to a larger size. thanks for the insight!

Ah the rebranded mad cats wheel from 2013!
Wow it actually is. Looks like the only thing they changed was the pedal-housing and added a cheap shifter
@@AlvB218 they changed the internal of it
Can't believe this is from the same exact PXN that made those cheap ass non-FFB tabletop wheels with suction cups....
It sure looks like as if it's a DD kit, which gives it a nice look factor. Definitely going into my short list
Thanks for the review! I have a Logitech g920 and it was interesting to see how the v10 performed against some of the other wheels. Keep up the great content!
Is the g920 good? I just want an entry wheel for my series x and it looked promising from everything I looked at and would like to know it's ups and downs from an owner
@@rev4126 it’s a decent wheel that’s made with some high quality materials. It’s also compatible with a range of games on the Xbox. I have an Xbox One S so I don’t know how it would go on a series x, but there may be some performance differences there, but I don’t know. I found that with some games such as Forza Horizon 5, the force feedback is too rough and often requires a great amount of resistance. Overall it’s a really good wheel and I would solidly recommend it.
@@rev4126 The wheel is good, the pedals are low quality made, you may experience input flickering/ weird pikes in braking after excessive use due to dust cluttering on the potentiometer, just a thing to be aware of and it can be fixed mostly , other than that, it's a great wheel. When u finish driving, put a bag over the pedals to protect them from dust. The pedals will work just fine.
@@puffycleod8678 thanks for the reply and as far as I know fh5 just had ff issues to begin with so yea I'ma be running that, NFS heat, nascar heat 4, and fm7

I got a used t150 with t3pa pedals, and a th8a for $250. Wheel and pedals are like new, shifter will need the 9 pin cable replaced with a regular usb type a (i can handle it). I just dont see the value here at this price point.
You got lucky. My thrustmaster t300 with the load cell pedals and aliexpress h-hifter setup cost me $600. And the th8a shifter usaully goes for $200 on the market.
@@smokemyjohnson6755 how do you like that shifter?
It’s works with Xbox, pc, and ps4 definitely best budget wheel

Have seen the ad of this thing and really surprised that they actually made it
very cool review it hasn't even come out yet
I believe they are in stock now!
I think after this wheel, pxn might become a good wheel company and a competition to Logitech.
I have a pxn v10 and it's amazing! I can also confirm it works perfect with the ps5 with no problems. But you have to use a hori wired Playstation controller.
seeing as this wheel is $80 cheaper in my country than the logitech g29, i view this wheel as a good buy for people entering the simracing world
HE FINALLY TOOK MY REQUEST!!!!
i got this and it does exactly what i need for forza
Once I saw this product came out I started waiting for your review, finally you've reviewed it now hahahah

This is a rebranded Mad Catz wheel?
I don’t know what a mad catz wheel is 😅
@@OCRacing ua-cam.com/video/5kyHwH5zCOk/v-deo.html here's an Inside Sim Racing video from 2014, the rim and wheelbas loox exactly the same (just different labels), but that one has a 2 pedal set
Seems good, good vid oc!
It could use some improvements, but it is ok for young beginners.
i thought this was a DD wheel for quite a while
it should've been
The wheelbase certainly looks like it but no, unfortunately 😅
In Asia which PXN mainly sells their products, this significantly cheaper than the G29. I was going to get this but i went with the G29 bec of the build quality
Please review PXN V99 !! 👍👍
Really want to see this channel do well.
Hi I own one of these personally and I have the newest batch of the whole set I think you might have the older batch
Pxn really playing with the big boys here
I'm loving that Evora set up.. can you give any details please?
Saw this on a platform and I was shocked. Pedals and shifter Included, even the wheel is fully covered. I feel like my T150 pro is nowhere near this much the fact that the PXN give much more for that price.
Totally ruins the experience
great review, thanks
I never knew pxn made a force feedback wheel
I want it now
I am confused between PXN v10 or PXN v99 or Logitech G29 which one is better? For beginners?
So, let's make something clear. As how some guys commented, yes, this is a rebranded Mad Catz Pro Steering wheel, wich I also own, and I have had issues with the windows driver. Unfortunately you missed a point here wich you didn't mentioned, you can adjust the steering wheel vertical angle from the wheelbase from the small screws, wich for the other mid range wheels you can't! I made the mistake to buy the Logitech G920, such a stupid thing... The wheel base has a stupid high angle and with the time you will feel pain in your wrists.
Love it ! thnx for this video......what shoes are those? puma right? but what model they nice !!
I get so many questions about this haha. Not sure on the exact model, but I’m sure you’ll find it if you google “Ferrari puma shoes” or something similar.
Brilliant video, bro! Tell me, what games are you playing there with this wheel?
Wait the same steering wheel works for both Xbox and ps4? You don’t need to purchase two; one for each system? This is the only wheel in the entire market that does that.
Hi! I've recently purchased this PXN V10 but I can't seem to find which wheel stand would be able to fit it? I was looking up the Apiga wheel stand for it. Do u think it would be compatible?
You should try to review some Simagic gear bro, they really deserve a look at
I got this same product for $200 flat so it was not a bad idea for me. It is also my first wheel so it should be adequate for me.
Isn’t that the madcatz wheel rebranded?
Love your videos!!!
Thanks!
Holy shit PXN really stepped up Thier game
why do some pxn v10s have the logo as a sticker and other ones hwve it written
Does this work with forza horizon 5 on the xbox?
would you mind doing a comparison between this and the Logitech G29/G92X or the Thrustmaster T150? thanks a lot 😁
Coming sooner than you think!
Please make a review on the Mad Catz Pro wheel.
Oh wait it's the same wheel (sarcasm btw)
Never heard of that 🤔
Great post..Thank you. hmm..so I still stuck. Which one should I fuck with?? I need a strong wheel for iRacing.
Depends on your budget! Do you have any in mind?
Should i get this? Here it is 290$ brand new, while the g29 is 340$ with shifters.
Hi, I'm a teenager and I'm just starting out with sim racing. I've narrowed down my choices to two steering wheels: the Logitech G923 and the PXN V10. I can't decide between the two. I'm sure of one thing: I'll only use it for gaming and not for any serious sim racing. For example, I want to play play Forza, Euro Truck Simulator, and maybe Assetto Corsa. Can you help me choose?
Same with me but instead of Forza, Grand Turismo I’m not sure but I think this wheel is better, I just like the looks of this one better
Hope they realize how big this market is becoming and go for a DD wheel in the future
Hey im on the edge between this and the moza r5 bundle for my first wheel. What do you recommend?
Bought a T300 RS a while ago, now I wish I would have waited a bit and bought this!
edit: I have small hands so the sizing of the wheel doesn't really matter.
No way bro, your t300 is miles better than this
Wdym, T300rs is better
yeah after watching the full review i'm less convinced
but i do have small hands so the wheel could work with me
i dont think you realize how good the t300 base is especially if your drifting. the v10 is just a rebrand madcatz wheel which didint get great reviews at the time as its competor was the g25 or g27.
I was on board until you mentioned the wheel is smaller. I have a thrustmaster t-80 and it might be fisher price sized but it gets me around the track. Still, I want something adult-sized!!!!!
The force feedback stopped working a little after I got it doesn't even have any resistance.....
I'd rather shop for a used wheel. My entry level was a logitech DFGT my gosh what an abuse did it withstand. Later I've found a T500RS for 80€ with modded brake pedal paired with a modded logitech shifter with rubber bands and a metal sparco knob and a handbrake made of flight joystick now I need to upgrade the PC and screens but I still love this setup
forgot to mention the fact that the wheel is basically a repurposed madcats pro racing wheel.
I would like to buy this but is it compatible with many games?
I thought Pxn wheels were like a cheap brand you get off Alibaba never thought they would try to compete with proven ffb wheels
Same I always thought they were just bad Chinese knockoffs.
@@Cody.Wright I mean, Logitech already makes its budget wheels entirely in China. There's no reason a Chinese company shouldn't be able to compete with a Chinese product that's barely changed in over 15 years. I hope they iron out the issues and give Logitech some much deserved market pressure
@@Serzari ya thiers still a difference in quality between a company that has a product made in China vs. A product made by a Chinese company.
@@Cody.Wright I have family in the electronics repair business, who helped me repair the shoddy all plastic encoder wheel in my G27. There really isn't. It's all disposable and often outsourced to the same factories with the same "good enough" components.
Most of these companies effectively made their own cheap Chinese knockoffs to appease shareholders when compared to where they started, like the WingMan Force and trackballs with reasonable lifespans. Design beats brand in this market, since none of it is built to last below the high end market anyways
@@Serzari ya I don't care. I know junk when I see it and this is junk. Even their website throws out red flags with alot of contradictions in what they claim.
I love the price thats why I buy it, but the problem comes, dident work for me with, Need for Speed , Horizon5, Dirt4, so wich game I need to get this thing works??? Think I will send it back!
There is no way im buying this over Trustmaster or Logitech at that price.
i fell like that plastic pedals gonna break with stiffer spring
Can the shifter be used with thrustmaster wheel
Wait so to play it with pc do you need to plug a controller in? I saw that you need to by someone else reviewing it and people on amazon
The small wheelbase made me think it was direct drive to be honest.
Just a quick question, t300rsGT or pxn v10? And why?
What cord is mounted in back I can’t find where to plug that in
