I'm really puzzled. I mean, Michael Phelps has asthma, heart issues, and depression, yet he swam the 100m freestyle in under 47 seconds and won 7 gold medals in a single Olympics. So when a Chinese athlete swims it in 46.4 seconds, is that really surprising? Or is it that no one is allowed to surpass him? Is this about jealousy? Original sin is pretty scary!

American's were cheating with steroids in Baseball, Basketball and American football. Ironically and comically these are the sports which only Americans used to play.
If you analyze medal tally, USA only dominates in sports which can be boosted by peds like swimming and athletics. But in sports like diving and archery (which you can only improve by hardwork and practice), its Asian countries which dominate.

No one in the USA cares about some of these events because there are no scholarships to be earned in them. Archery, table tennis, and some other skill based events are seldomly played due to this. On the other hand, track and field, basketball, swimming, and golf are events that can help one finance their education due to scholarship money

The intention of excessive frequency of doping test on Chinese swimmers is intended to:
1. Create a false impression to the public that China is ‘infamous’ for drug enhancement use in sports.
2. Disrupt Chinese swimmers’ routine with 7 to 11 times doping screening daily, hoping to deplete Chinese swimmers physical and mental strength which can greatly affect their performance.
They were disrupted during sleep or training or eating, some were waken up at 5am in their deep sleep.
In 2021 during Covid pandemic lock down, China Olympic committee reported THEMSELVES to WADA that they detected mild drug content in 23 athletes, due to lock down, no member of WADA could enter China to cross check the investigation, therefore WADA allowed China to investigate, WADA accepted the result which the drug was found from meat product.
After that event, Chinese athletes have been closely monitored and tested.
The athletes who are qualified for any international sports events all have test result of negative, so do the Chinese team in Paris Olympic.
But US media don’t tell the whole truth when reporting doping on Chinese swimmers, such as NYT, they intended to leave out crucial piece that has proven Chinese team is clean, US media intended to mislead the public to assume guilty of Chinese team.
This is the same dirty lowly politic US plays on geopolitical propaganda, making accusations and assumed guilty WITHOUT evidence, and report them as if they are ‘known facts’. Such as Xinjiang Uyghur ‘genocide’, what a joke!

If an athlete can prove it was in food or a supplement they get a reduced ban of 2 years instead of 4 years. It HAS to be like this or the food or supplement could be used by deliberate cheats to get let off.

They had extremely small quantities in their blood and it was determined to be from contaminated food. Erriyon had tren (not a small amount?) in his system and is allowed to compete. Our German team, East and West used to win all the medals in the 80s. Germany has fallen short in Olympic medals in all disciplines. That’s because we go after doing seriously. Because using his "23 gold medals" is pointless for the simple reason that swimming is one of the few sports were one athlete can win multiple medals, in the same Olympics. The sport of swimming has four strokes, and multiple individual events as well as team relay events.
A boxer, judo athlete, wrestler, Olympic weightlifter, etc., can only win a maximum of ONE medal per Olympics. So if these athletes want to win a gold medal, they absolutely CANNOT mess up at all.
For swimmers, if they mess up in one event, they can always win another medal in several different events.
Can't compare. So don't try. Pointless.

People who called out this before the Paris Olympics should be shamed of yourselves. This is especially the case for athletes and retired ones who know what genuine sportsmanship is like. You have achieved your goals not through personal efforts in the Olympic venues and fair competition. The Chinese swimmers are subjected to unfair drug tests, 5-7 times more than their counterparts and throughout the day, including inconvenient hours in the morning and evening. Even FBI has been asked to conduct the investigation. This is using undue political means to disrupt a sports event. The relentless media reports and open smearing has taken its toll on the Chinese athletes. The Chinese swimming team still managed to score medals in the Paris Olympics but their performance was subpar compared to what they could have achieved, had they not being the target of such physical and psychological strain - specifically that from the drug tests and media attacks.
Because 23 Chinese swimmers tested positive before the tokyo olympics. This has nothing to do with politics.

This testing for doping is a joke, the athletes can benefit for years of doping and they just have to get off by April and use milder stuff for a minute and they still get absolutely amazing unhumanly gains from that, because the benefits fromit stay with you for years.
