80's car chase popularized the speed ramping technique. Fury Road brought that back. Incredible cinematography and production makes this a masterpiece.
Fun Fact: The movie Spacehunter: Adventures In The Forbidden Zone was originally suppose to be a sequel to The Road Warrior. The thing that makes it interesting is a lot of this movie's main plot is the same as Fury Road. The hero is on a mission to save women from an evil leader on a planet and he has a female sidekick.
Great Review Aaron, Fury Road was such an Experience. I saw it in 2015 & then in the 2017 Black & Chrome Re-release. It's a Legitimate Masterpiece, so it's going to be tough for Furiousa to match it. If Furiousas Experience can at least be one Tier Below Fury Road, I would call that a Success in my Opinion. And then of course we have the Box Office. It food do decent Numbers. I can't wait for this Weekend. I'm seeing Furiousa in Dolby Cinema! 🎉🥳
Fury Road definitely takes place long after Beyond Thunderdome. As usual he didn’t doublecheck anything. It’s supposed to play take place when Max is an older grizzled man, it was meant for Mel Gibson at his current age. But on the timeline, it is well established that this takes place long after Thunderdome. The tie-in graphic novel by George Miller himself makes all this really clear.
I haven’t seen Thunderdome and had done a search on the timeline. Not my fault if the info was incorrect. And Hardy is way younger than Mel. They could have just used Mel then.
I love fury road, I always just thought it took place in order like after thunderdome, I never heard the prequel angle, I guess it could take place before 2 or 3, but it couldn’t be before part 1, cause he dosent really become “mad” max till after they kill his wife n kid, he was actually cop in beginning with family n home, he dosent become like “drifter” till after part 1

The director almost made a Justice League movie and that again without any movie coming before it.

I'm going to watch it again, good review man.

Did you just make that up? Because that is in no way true.
The score is junkie xl too, there are UA-cam vids on his channel showing how he made all the riffs for the guitar dude on truck

I thought this was a review for The Last Samurai :O
Easy mistake to make, both have Words in the title I guess :)
My favorite movie of all time. And Max is the main star. Furiosa is a co-star.
My first viewing of Fury Road wasn't so flattering but after the 2nd viewing it started to grow on me a bit. I'm checking out Furiosa this weekend.
MAD MAX FURY ROAD 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Masterpiece. I SEE 2 HOURE FURIOSA 💀🛠🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I CAN'T WAIT.
Fury Road had great cinematography action and music 🔥

That was my thought too.

You should review the first 3 if you haven't already
Cool
Did you really just call a guitar neck a stem?
I thought I said neck. Not a big deal.
I'm a big fan of Night Shift with Michael Keaton
