I came here looking for a simpler version of Mike Harding's rendition of this song. I liked Christy Moore's interpretation but this is the best yet; beautifully sung and the guitar, though understated, is just gorgeous. All in all, an outstanding version. Thank you, Colm.

Tonight I have watched Steeleye Span and Christy Moore perform this song and I have to say that this version is right up there beside them. I found you from the Live From Home Open Stage on Facebook. I love the whole "Cave theme" with the dark video. One doesn't know what to expect the first time they click on one of your videos. All of a sudden a celtic style kinda folky wonder of a man starts singing and playing a sweet picking pattern. Sounds like a song that would be fitting to Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. First time I heard this song (yesterday) I grabbed my Classical and started tuning it, figuring out by ear what you did. Can't wait to learn this one, I just need a better voice!!(practice anyways)
