So real. I am just getting into photography at age 71. I'm a birder actually and love taking shots of beautiful birds for my friends to see. Press on, dear Mama. Your photographs are stunning and your perseverance inspirational.
Thank you June for your kind comment. It's never too late to start, I think even better the wiser you are because you can approach it with experience behind you. I appreciate the support and words of encouragement, thank you 🙏
Love the misty atmosphere, it brings out the image more clearly. Thank the person who helps you while doing your love for photography.
Cheers Roy! I thought so 🧐 I've discovered it's a wonderful combination
Probably the coolest BTS of any channel! Way to go mom! Your kid is going to love watching these in the years to come.
Thank you, yes I hope so ❤️
Thanks Suzannna for sharing your experience with great comments & results....I don't have a mirrorless camera but I just enjoy taking landscape pics... nature is so calming.... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
You are so welcome! Appreciate the support 🙏
Your rock ! Taking woodland photos is hard enough what with the terrane and weather to cope with but looking after your precious as well, whole new level. Thank you for video.
Thanks! I hope it's inspired people to keep going 🙏
Appreciated your message at the end - I'm in a bit of a rut myself where I am not sure what to photograph next. Maybe it is just the winter blues?
I find my creative ruts definitely change with the seasons, but I spoke of this in a recent video. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with too much influence and choice and it can be hard to shoot because we have other people work in our minds. Sometimes just being out in nature, spending time and following your natural interest is the best remedy
Have you been the voice on my meditation/ sleep app? I love your videos, but I want to fall asleep so badly. lol
Thank you Suzannah for an inspiring video. I keep waiting for the perfect weather, perfect life/work balance and often end up talking my way out of going out and taking landscapes. Seeing you go out with a baby in a pram got me off my back side and into the outdoors to do what I love. We shouldn't wait for life to be perfect to act on what we love doing. I encourage you Keep going and I'll keep an eye out for more of your videos.
Oh thank you so much for your kind comment! It's so encouraging. Yes you can't wait for those perfect conditions because sometimes they will never come OR they will change at the drop of a hat. Glad this struck a cord to get out doors and enjoy your passion 📸🥾🙏
Thanks!
You're very welcome! I love your videos.
Thank you for the donation ❤️
I love both before and after shots. The “after” has the mist in the background that causes separation, which draws your eye more on the subject. Well done.
Thank you, it's been a few weeks progressing and idea waiting for the right conditions
We love these ❤
Oh thank you so much 🙌
Really good video and a more real life perspective
Thank you 😊🙏
Very nice tips. It is wonderful you take your son with you.
Thank you so much 😊
So inspirational, it’s tough enough finding the time to get out and photograph by yourself. I can only imagine the work and planning involved in doing it with a bub in tow. All credit to you, well done.
Oh thank you! Yes it is a task but good I can use his buggy as a tripod and he's chilled enough for me to go walking with him and he sleeps. Only issue at the moment is teething 😅🦷
Great work! You captured some fantastic images and shared important info! Thanks for taking me along!
Thank you, very kind of you to comment 🙏
Nice shots and stories; I definitely liked the "after" tree shot more because of the fading background and softer light. It also separates the colors more (orange tree against blue-ish forest background). Mist/rain is very helpful in that regard! I always like sunlight in a forest but it took me a few years of photography before I realized that it makes taking photos extremely challenging. Soft light is so much better...
I do wildlife photography with a little one in tow! I feel your pain on that one. I found a backpack carrier a blessing when mine was "littler" , Don't try squatting for your shots with a backpack carrier though (I learned the hard way). Gorgeous photos, I too love the contrast of the beech leaves in a forest simply beautiful!
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing your story too. I think it will help inspire others too. Do you have a link for your photography work? Ta for the kind words, appreciate it 🙏
Inspiring
Thank you Suzannah for sharing your lovely video and beautiful photos I thought the second ( after ) was more natural than the before photo really enjoyed watching
Thanks for watching and commenting your thoughts, very kind of you

Very interesting thank you. 😊
Good morning
excellent advice for the weather conditions and very beautiful photos in the end, thank you for sharing

Thank you ☺️
Just wonderful, a superbly crafted vlog 🙏🏻
Thanks so much! 😊
The misty photo was very nice, subdued. You better hone your setup skills. In a year with the child mobile you will have to set up, take a picture, and pack it up in about 30 seconds to keep up. Enjoy
A really great video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
What App are you using to compile your video it has a cinematic appearance 👍
iMovie because I am poor 🤣 Seems to do the job!
Hi Mary this was a very beautiful video! I had no idea that you had the baby with you! That's wonderful that you can include him in your photography adventures! He will grow to love the woodlands like you! He is so cute!!! Thank you for the video, it was very enjoyable!!!

Nice to see the back end of your video creation process, good on you 👍
Also, the video is work is brilliant, I can see its handheld but at the same time nicely stable, are you using your R5 or a different camera?
Thank you very much! I'm using my Canon R5 and an OSMO pocket 3. Glad you enjoyed the video
I liked the after image. Nice video
Thank you 🙏
Nice video and impressed by that combination 👍
