The 8 train used to be a 3rd Av Elevated line years ago but was taken down around 1973. In this video, it shows the line running in Pier 8 in the Rockaways operating only a 2 car length.

The 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line shouldn't have been never been taken down. If they would of kept the 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line up running without tairing it down the R62AS R62S would of definitely replacing the R12S R14s right now.

Yeah they they definitely know about the 9 and V and the brown 🟤 M lines and all of that. Most people are definitely sleeping on the 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line.

Eventually they are definitely gonna wind up rebuilding and restoring the 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line I'm telling you. There's is no way the Q T trains are gonna be extended to south Bronx Clearmount Webster Boston road Bronx where the 8 Thrid Ave Elevated line used to run. Hell no. The Q T trains are definitely gonna be extended to East Harlem after leaving 116 street making a left curve to East Harlem connecting to the 4 5 6 lines and 2 3 A C D B and then the 1 Broadway line I'm telling you. You definitely have to look at the Second Ave Subway map s on how the Q T trains are running to East Harlem and west side.
