I am thinking of doing a video showing many of my products and how they can drive each other. Obviously they need setting up correctly, all apps need to have Sync enabled and use the AUM transport so everything syncs correctly, but yet, it is perfectly possible.

The iOS platform should always be in gratitude towards Paul the mighty one, for this creation. I loved the trance style rhythmic sequence you made in your very first video and you didn’t have the phaser or flanger (I wish you hadn’t of added them) They don’t have the same quality as the raw sounds. As a result, I don’t want to hear all of those effects on anything. Can there be a switch on the front of the unit that turns all of the effects off so I don’t have to hear them on those beautiful sounds as I go through the demonstrations / sequences? Regards 😎
The phaser and flanger do degrade the sound, its kind of the nature of those types of effect, however they are off by default unless the original author of the preset intended it to be on. However, if you long press on the FX button it turns off all effects processing completely and you are free to add your own effects if you wish. I will give this some thought and see if there is a better way to turn off everything in that second page of effects. I'm a little busy now but I will see what I can do.
Hi Paul, many thanks for this great app. Apologies for reporting a potential bug this way but I couldn’t find another route… on 1.08 load CH into AUM and connect the AUM keyboard. Select the new Stellar Anomolies pack and play say Astral Lament from ARPs and Pads. Then select Dark Reflections. CH crashes out with BAD SIGNAL!. Other presets in this pack also cause the crash. Let me know if you need anymore info. All the best. Tony.
Ok, I've tried this in standalone mode and inside of AUM and not been able to produce the problem. Can you try rebooting your iPad and then giving it another go? If that fails is it possible to uninstall and reinstall CH to see if you have a corrupted install? (If you don't have any saved presets you don't min loosing that is). I've also tried installing on several iPad'srunning iOS16 and not seeing the issue at my end.
@@geotony Thanks for letting me know. These things happen occasionally, but since you seem to be the only one with the issue I think it was one of those things that an ooccasional reboot sorts out.
@@PaultheMusicMan Hi Paul, me again, apologies for bugging you again, especially during the launch of AudioScope (which looks brilliant btw) but I’m still having problems with Copperhead. I think it’s related to the bpm of the host I.e. at the default 120 everything is stable but when you go down to 50 or below (best reproduced at 20 bpm) the you get almost immediate crashes. This is with one instance of CH loaded in AUM, using the AUM keyboard to play CH and moving about the stellar anomalies, Atmos and Pads presets. Crash logs available showing ZSynthExtension? I will add this to my list of possible future updates. I only added what I thought was worth manipulating at run time such as those things available to the sequencer. Not really sure why you need ADSR but I will consider adding it.
@@PaultheMusicMan hey man, That would be great. The reason is that I am building a bigger setup with multiple synths and have 4 faders for ADSR that get redirected depending on which Synth is active. I am cloning the OP-1 and copperhead is the only dual vco Synth with cross modulation features that I found so far, and that’s exactly one of the engines in the OP-1.
Some of the knobs aren’t working on iPhone 12 Pro Max. iOS 16.3.1. Some are fine and others locked. Stand-alone, Drambo and AUM. Other than that, looking great
There shouldn't be any issues with locking knobs. When changing knob values you need to TAP, HOLD and drag horizontally left to right (or vertically up down). Don't try to literally turn the knobs as that won't work. Some knobs with only 4-5 options may need some dragging before they change value. I do have an iPhone 12 Pro Max but I like to keep it on 15.3 as everything works just fine. I will check this on the simulator and see if I can replicate the problem.
I managed to repeat the problem. When I hit the full screen button, a number of the knobs lock and I can’t get back out of full screen. Only solution is to reinstall and not use the full screen option. Cheers
@@synthscrape This is crazy, no one else has reported this problem, however if you are on an iPhone the app is really unusable in Full Screen mode, and just testing it now it is working for me but I have to be so precise to jump back out of it again.
