This weekend, my sister is selling me our Grandfather's 1952 Chevy. The car went to my uncle when grandpa died. Then to my cousin, my father, my sister and now it's my turn to own it. 72 years in the same family.
Sears sold these cars from 1908 until 1912. Red Skelton drove one in "Excuse My Dust". One was also featured in “The Magnificent Ambersons”, with ropes wrapped around the rear wheels to give better traction in the snow.
Hey man, I love the car! But that ain't a Model T! That is the ford motor company's first car, the original model a. The first model t was in 1908. This is WAY cooler than a model t though!
If you compare it to gold it would be $500,- 1 ounce gold coin was 20 dollars. It now costs 2000 dollars. I guess this car costs 500 dollars back in 1920.
It’s a 1910 sears, they sold new for $370 without a top ($395) with a top. Had a 14 hp 2-cylinder air cooled engine that could get a whopping 25 mph…and that’s dangerous fast in this thing 😂
So, what year and make is the car. From the comments I'm a bit confused to who has the correct information. Thanks, Dan. P.S. Love the history of Ford.
For the life of me I don’t understand why you’d interview someone and only worry about the audio of that conversation, did they ask to only be filmed from a distance? It’s really strange.
There is no way the car is 1902, the Sears Buggy was produced from 1908-13. When it came out in 1908, it was already obsolete as the Ford T came out the same year.
I have a horse wagon western style has numbers really old had plaque saying it was taken from Indian reservation must of been how they took natives there but someone stole the plate off it have a idea who but can’t prove it a little old man I removed most of wood just left enough to be able to duplicate it looks better than anything out there just the way it sits and a old Chevy truck legend might be a 1918 or latest 1921 but dam it’s kool has vin but can’t find no info on it more like numbers lol people I know all tried some say 1920 others 1921 legend who knows but it’s kool saved them from being destroyed it’s weird junk to some and beautiful to others lots of people stop by and say get that stuff in garage not outside American history I laugh because my wife will kick my butt if I take her car and stuff out of garage lol if there’s a Chevy truck lover out there here is one you just don’t see rusty Chevy truck first one’s made that actually look kool starting bid above 100 dollar’s lol

This car should be preserved as is but cleaned and put back in running condition. A great rarity in unrestored condition.
Many people think Model T is a generic term for all antique cars, particularly if it has skinny tall tires.

just beautiful yes get it running and leave it alone Americana history Amen
Absolutely LOVE IT !!! Thanks for sharing !!
Thanks for watching!
Basically is a chariot or wagon with a primitive engine… is beautiful and amazing. Just a little maintenance and is ready for a museum
Incredible Car!!!!... Amazing!!!.. thanks for the video 👌!
There’s a 1908 Buick that’s been in the same family since new. They were giving out rides at the 2022 Buick nationals!
This Model T Ford is a old treasure, itneeds to be restored and kept in a museum for future generations to view 👍 Au
This is actually 1903 one of the first Fords ever made Ford the car manufacturer was made 1903 June 11th thus car is remarkable and very historical
That's not a Ford at all
It's a Sears motorbuggy. The video uploader put a title on that's incorrect.
I wish they could have found someone who knows about antique cars to present this video. Such a great car and such inaccurate information.

The fact that it has a tiller instead of a steering wheel indicates a very early car.
It has a posi diff !....that car is epic
I would have loved to have a shot of the metal manufacturer plate in the back ❗️
$5 in 1925 is about $100 today.
If you compare it to gold it would be $500,-
1 ounce gold coin was 20 dollars. It now costs 2000 dollars. I guess this car costs 500 dollars back in 1920.
I love it!! Greatings from Ford meachanic from Holland!!!
Thank you very much!
Has nothing to do with the Ford Model T...
I'm confused! The title says Model T and then they say it's a Sears. I think it looks more likely a 1902 than a 1910
Me too ! A great video albeit the mix up
I agree. Make the title match the car.
Ford simply reuse the title from this earlier vehicle for them all to you that you guys are probably thinking of

@@caspianwendell Thanks! I saw a restored Sears of approximately that vintage and it was amazing. That appears to be original
THIS IS AMAZING

You are correct
The video title is wrong... This is a Sears from about 1910...
Wow!
For the life of me I don’t understand why you’d interview someone and only worry about the audio of that conversation, did they ask to only be filmed from a distance? It’s really strange.
Interesting............................ 😉
THANK YOU HULL HOSSER

Not even the first Model A Ford. They had the radiator on the front. May not even be a Sears! LOL
It's a Sears Motor Buggy. Made in Chicago. 1909/10
I see some lettering through the paint on the rear of the seat
Thats not a Model T, and its also not a Ford. Please do some research before you make videos like this.
