Strong CORE + Toned ARMS / No equipment workout

    In this video, we will be doing an upper body workout that focuses on strengthening the CORE and toning our ARMS, no equipment needed. You can do this workout at home or outdoors.
    I just want to point out that abs exercises or core workouts only strengthen the core and can also help prevent back pain. By strengthening the core, you are able to decrease the amount of weight or load the spine is carrying. Strong core muscles can greatly support the spine that can prevent back pain, disc bulge or disc herniation.
    Abs exercises will not give you defined "abs." This is a misconception. Everybody has abdominal muscles. The main goal is to remove the layer of fat in front of the abs to get visible abs. Even if you do a lot of abs exercises but still has the layer of fat in front of the midsection, "abs" still won't be visible.
    I got 3 tips on how to get visible abs.
    1. Lose fat overall - can't spot reduce fat
    2. Caloric deficit - number of calories a person consumes in a day is less than the number of calories they burn
    3. Resistance training or Weight Training - we burn more fat/calories when we develop and grow muscle mass
    Increase in muscle mass = FASTER METABOLISM
    So instead of focusing on abs exercises alone, focus on getting stronger overall. You can attain this by doing weight training and working on your upper and lower body muscles. Also, make sure to work on large muscle groups like the GLUTES, LEGS, CHEST and BACK. When you engage multiple muscle groups, you are able to burn more fat or calories.
