cool sounds. far better sounding than i remember back in 1984. the picture on the album cover turned me off in 1984. she should be singing the whole time not talking.
I love "Unconditional Love". Still do. Great message. Probably, not a great single choice if you want to have a hit, but not every song is going to be a hit anyway.
back up singing is gross. this is a cool video with cool music but donnas singing doesn't match the good music and her album cover pose is gross. i forgot about donna after unconditional love in late 1983 thinking she was trying to become a black artist and not making good music but the music is good here.... her dress and the backup singing is bad and her voice does not match this new wave sound.
I thought the singing was great.Cats Without Claws sounded like an unfinished album. After the success of "She Works Hard..." - her record company rushed to get out a new album. They didn't tell her to make any changes or keep working on it.They thought they could sell it.Producer M.Omartian thought it was good enough - I guess.
@@lyndonwoodward8329 she never should have worked with Michael Omarion I don't know what qualifications he has for anything he looks like some kind of Mafia figure not a skilled music producer .. maybe Donna's husband chose Michael Omarion
@@dampergoldenrod4156 Because "Hard For The Money" was a smash - they went with him again.Omartians production won Christopher Cross 5 Grammys and he also produced Rod Stewart 's ,"Some Guys Have All The Luck". Don't know what the second time.
Great job! Thanks!
Love this song
A song about the dangers of trying to be cool ; the street life? Very unique song.
the cover picture is nasty yet donna said her music was promoting sin.
I don't see anything nasty about the cover. Unless, you have a different definition of nasty.

Maravillosa mujer, en todos los sentidos. Una verdadera pérdida con su partida muy prematura.
Si no hubiera estado casado, habría intentado llegar a ella, aunque estuviera en el fin del mundo.
after the awful unconditional love in late 1983 i gave up on donna until 1989.

Why would Donna try to become a black artist? She was already a black artist just by being black from birth. LOL.
