Congrats on the saves. You may already know by now but the second item in the video that you identified as a possible drawer pull is, in fact, a thumb plate to a musket (or flintlock pistol). They are often called escutcheon plates but gun collectors will argue the correct id is thumb plate (because your thumb would rest on it) or "wrist plate" because on the musket it was position at the "wrist" of the stock. Keep diggin!
Hey heey friend! Cool hunt.. congratulationf on your finds.. Keep it filming..and of course.. happy hunting! Big support drom new friends and followers.. a metal detectinf couple from southern Europe!
There are a lot of great detectors out there nowadays. It really depends on your budget. I used the Minelab Equinox 800 and absolutely love it and have found a lot of great things over the years with it. My daughter uses the Minelab Xterra Pro and has done really well with it. The Minelab Xterra Elite is a really great machine as are the Double and Triple Score from Nokta. A little higher end on the Nokta side is the Legend. Whichever way you go I would recommend that it comes with headphones. They are critical in helping you hear the really deep faint tones that you might otherwise miss. There are a lot of great local dealers that can help you get the best deal on a unit. I have been using West Shore Hobbies and they have always been great.
boom let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Some pretty cool finds there

New to your channel. A ques: Which detector would you recommend for a newbie - interested primarily in looking for coins?
