Nice little review of the area. I've heard that the Gull river downstream from Minden lake holds rainbows...keep telling myself I'm going to check that out. I've also heard that there are quite a few pike in Mountain lake...have you experienced that?

Can confirm the pike in Mountain Lake. Haven't experienced rainbows in the Gull though.
