    I'm a taxidermist in Georgia and have been doing taxidermy for over 30 years . And I use to hate doing skull mounts until a couple of years ago when I ran across your channel. I'll continue to watch your videos as long as you put them up!
    Awesome stuff thanks for always sharing!

    This looks so fun I wanna try out a deer as my first but this state says it's illegal unless we got a license so im gonna wait to get older, see if there's any local deer hunters and get one. Also don't worry I'll put the rest of the deer to use (I'll house the hide) and I'll eat the deer meat since it is pretty good and I'll save some bones to learn anatomy.

    • @keithandringa1686
      @keithandringa1686 5 років тому +2

      @@nicholasdandrea565 I would look into taxidermists that use dermestid beetles that eat all the flesh/skin off. They tend to be gentler than boiling and cleaner than ants. The only problem you may run into with a snake skull is the bottom jaw, as it detaches naturally, and is very flexible, making them fragile for any skull preservation method. Ask around and see! there may be a better way!
