Just wanted to say, you’re not alone in feeling stressed out and overwhelmed by things going wrong. I was supposed to start college in the fall but everything has gone wrong and my visa has gotten denied and I still can’t get to the US... Just wanted to say that I totally relate to the feeling of stress and being on an emotional roller coaster at the moment
Sorry it was such a stressful week Tia 😔💜 but I appreciate you being transparent with us. And even more glad that it’s behind you now and you’ve made it away to spend time with family xx
Congrats on getting through your finals!!!!! I know exactly what you are talking about when you say that you think you might fail but nobody will believe you. I go through the exact same feeling every time I have a test, and I usually get above 95%. I have seen you study, and trust me when I say this: you will do great :) Also, seeing you play in the snow is so adorable, especially since I live in a place covered by snow for more than half the year lol
Congratulations on finishing finals! I hope you start feeling better once you are surrounded by family. And please always remember it’s ok to have a cry and feel overwhelmed!
Did you ever apply to Harvard and did you ever get accepted? Finally finished WACE exams and got an ATAR of 97.95 :) Love from a former Shenton College student!! Btw did you go to smags?
it will vary per college, so I can only speak for yale! at yale, all admitted students are eligible for financial aid and to apply you just submit your financial information in an application form thing which you can find on yale's website. I don't really have any tips because all you do is submit your family's financial info. from my experience, yale has been generous with their aid - if they admit you, they obviously want you so they will do what they can to help you attend x
For most colleges in the US, asking for financial aid will put you at a disadvantage, so make sure you need it. But if you do, try to apply to the need blind colleges (I think 10 are need blind for internationals)
@@sophiahannebery7774 very good point!! Yale was need blind for internationals, and I’m not sure which other schools are but I’m sure google will tell you ☺️

what are your tips on financial aid for international students? xx
