      It is a nicer lockpick for sure. I've had a couple ask about the Copper giant. Seems to have been a favorite.

      @@FittoSurvive I love it I even bought a metonboss scale for a benchmade buyout I made up a mini high end edc tool set the Dragonox is the main tool and benchmade matching is the cutting tool, I’ve got some ideas I’ll be trying out to add some more. I love my Dragonox. Hope you have been well. I’ve been thinking about a 58mm match

    You made it look so easy. Makes me wonder why I use anything except wire ties?

      😅 I wasn't expecting the last lock to open so easily.

    As you say you are not a proficient lockpicker. The problem with all of the folding picks is that they only allow the use of one pick. When picking one hand is used to tension and one hand is used to pick. During a serious picking process you will require to change pick profile, it is pretty much impossible to do so one handed. The pocket pick was designed specifically to overcome that problem.

      Interesting. I can see how changing picks mid process could be necessary.

    Good old masterlocks 😅 they're the most available padlocks in our hardware stores in the UK.
    I have quite a few sparrows picks. This looks good but a little expensive.

      @FittoSurvive  3 місяці тому

      Yep, that masterlock didn't put up any resistance. It is rather expensive I must say. Not sure what drives the price up. But it does have a very premium (heavy) feel to it.

    I think it is an interesting design but the Swick is much better in both toolset compared to price as well as its weight, also Covert Instruments has some great options for toolsets, sparrows just seems to under deliver for their price point they want to charge for their tools

      @@zackwoodhurst8241 I'll have to check out the Swick. Last time I tried to get a Covert Instruments, the tool I was after was out of stock. But that was over a year ago.

    i got a set that fit nicely in the back of a leatherman pouch next to the sawblades, once you start practicing lockpicking you realise how awfull some locks are

      Nice! I was going to pick the TSA lock on my luggage for the video, but when I tested it before recording I found out that it didn't have to be picked at all. I could just insert the tensioner, twist, and it would unlock. 🤔 Not secure at all.

      @@FittoSurvive exactly, ive been collecting up random padlocks, and half of them open with just the tensioner

    Got a question for you. I’m not sure how active you are in the comments so maybe you won’t get back to me on this. I was wondering, do you think most of the companies that produce titanium scales for Victorinox knives are completely up to capacity? I’m just wondering if they’re always back ordered or if they could potentially mass produce something. I’ve had this idea that I’ve been waiting to see for about four years now and I have no connections in the business whatsoever. I just have a design for a titanium scale and it’s something revolutionary. I know everybody thinks their ideas are revolutionary And sometimes they aren’t and that’s probably why you don’t see it on the market. But I’m 100% sure that what I’m thinking in my head is not a novelty and there would be probably about 100,000 people that would want to buy one of these right away. How would someone like me go about finding a machine shop to produce something that would want to partner up and basically use my design? It’s just such a shame to have this idea in my head and it not be out in the world and of course I would hope that I could make a few bucks off of everyone sold. That’s why I’m not just spitting out the idea until I know it’s completely futile for me to even hope that this would ever be possible. Seems like you would have to have some sort of connections in the business to even have someone use your idea, be it for a knife or something else. I thought maybe you might even have some connections. I just think that most of these companies that produce these scales probably can’t even keep up with demand. I think for the idea I have I would probably have to find somewhere in China. But anyways, any input would be much appreciated. Or if anybody out there reading this has any ideas on how to make something like this even happen. Thanks.

      @@StarDarkAshes Hey, the only machine shop that does custom work for me is Metonboss (based in the USA). Depending on what you have in mind, he might be able to accommodate you. Here's a link to his Etsy account where you can contact him. www.etsy.com/shop/MetonBoss
      I've never contacted any of the machine shops in China, but I assume you could find their contact information on Aliexpress.com
      Best of luck with your idea!
