My First Luau at The Royal Hawaiian in Oahu

Seeing a luau has been on my bucket list of mine ever since I was a kid. Of course, the first thing I had to do when I landed in Oahu was head straight to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel for their Aha Aina Luau. Located right on the pink sands of Waikiki Beach, I was astounded by this cultural performance, which was so much more than just a few dances. The talented performers took us on a journey through Hawaii's history through their song and dance. The host of the evening was great too!
Of course, the setting was magical on Waikiki Beach during sunset. We dined on an INCREDIBLE spread of local Oahu specialities like Kalua Pork, fresh local catch, poke, salads, handmade desserts and much more. The mai tais kept flowing too!
The entire evening was enchanting and so much more than I expected. The Royal Hawaiian set the bar high for luaus!
When you are in Oahu, you have to go!
