If you need a bit more space, you can reduce the support rails to 3mm. Sometimes that extra 4mm can make all the difference. And if you are panelizing small boards, watch for where the registration marks appear. If there occur on a V-Cut line, your files will fail the review process and there is currently no way to manually move them in EasyEDA so you make have to get creative to maximize your board count.

I came from a different supplier and they allowed a mix of PCB's on the allotted area, in this case 100x100mm. Can this be done on jlcpcb? In other words, say you need only 6 boards of one type and that leaves space on the blank. Can that space be filled with some different PCB's that are the same size or smaller to be fitted into that remaining space or do they all have to be the same size/shape PCB?

Thanks for the video! I tried doing this and they increased the price due to "panel board not being part of Special Price" It seems that its a coin toss if your order gets a go ahead or a price increase. also they charge for too many V-Cut lines too. the price increases by 5.90USD for panelize

There's a comment in the forum that this in no longer required (although they don't state the steps required). I noticed when uploading BOM and Placement files that there's an option "Single Piece, pls help me repeat the data". I've placed an order using the EasyEDA panelisation (with the default single board routed) and selected that option, so we'll see how it goes.

I ordered a panelized PCB using this method. I was a bit worried when the generated board on their website didn’t show the duplicated boards, only the first one. But it seems to have worked for you so I hope I will receive successfully panelized boards of 5x4= 20 pieces, and not only 5 pieces 😅

I was wondering the same thing, ended up not panelizing in the past because I wan't sure. I think the difference is if you select "panel by customer", they break the panel apart, otherwise it is delivered as a panel that you take apart yourself. Pricing is NOT CORRECT, obviously PCB Way changed its pricing policy. I prepared my panelized order, added to chart, everything was fine when I moved to payment stage the price went from 5 dollars to 28 dollars. I asked the customer support many questions, the final answer was "panelization is expensive". My PCB size was 40x30 mm and panelized as 2x3. So, the panel size was smaller than 100x100 mm. I ordered the same pcb in the same conditions from the other well-known Chinese pcb producer. The price was 2 dollars, they added 5 dollars engineering fee for panelization (quite understandable) and the total cost was 7 Dollars for 5 pieces of 2x3 panelized pcb (30 boards).

Your information is misleading. The $2 offer does not include V-scoring. They charge $10-30 for V-scoring, and it does not depend on the number of cuts. They say that "making scores" is too slow, and they cannot keep the batch processing cost. And also, the $2 is the price for first time customers, and once you want to order next time, it will go to $4.
