I was just watching the show.i do keep up with the show. But I had open heart surgery. I kinda got lost in my life because of the shock of emergency heart surgery. I wish I can go on your show to talk about this situation. But your show isn't ( Oprah) . I am 58 yrs old. Don't put Jesse Turner on the spot. That is not fair. I was a victim of child molestation from 4yrs old althea way till I was 14 yrs old. NOBODY NOBODY can point fingers or attack no one if you were never in that situation. Like I say there is no magic pill that will take any person to take our pain or worries away. Not even a Psychiatrist if that Dr. Has not gone through it. Mr. Jesse I Love You More Than The Universe. I'm from El Paso Texas I missed and la mafia I was in the Hospital. And all the peoples can have an opinion about Joe's situation but at the end of the day. There are ignorant people. For us…For our sins.He gave us all a clean slate and by His commandment we are to FORGIVE everyone! Only God will be the judge not one of you. Jesse, God will give you the strength to forgive. All I have to say about Joe Lopez , raping and molesting his underaged niece. This girl and her family will NEVER forget this assault. He should’ve gotten life in prison.
The problem with this is even for everything Joe did for Tejano there are consequences for our actions there are legal consequences and then ethical consequences especially ones that can follow a man or woman the rest of their lives and Joe is no different. But really this falls on the TTMA did someone on that committee not think of the public outcry and drama this would create? Public figures are treated a little harder and somethings are forgiven and other things aren’t in the eyes of the public.

Jesse Turner is a talented musician but he clearly has some sort of mental illness. He uses God and forgiveness as a crutch against pedophillia; which is questionable in & of itself. You know something is off in a person's head when they use the forgiveness card in reference to a crime on the level of Joe's. It's baffling. Jesse said he would "turn to God" if he were in such a situation. He's in high dellusion and has checked out mentally. Sad to see this.
Someone stealing from me or being backstabbed is a whole different level than someone raping my daughter. There is a difference here. Joe robbing a bank or selling drugs or cheating on a wife is different from raping a minor. However this is all on the TTMA someone in that meeting should have said something before they nominated him in the first place.
