The long awaited Redemption Day! PART 2 of 2. We go back to Gold Mountain with new mods and an extra buddy with his $900 2002 Land Rover Discovery. The FJ Cruiser leads the way up the rocks in a very flamboyant manner as the stock Toyota 4runner and Land Rover Discovery try to keep up. The Tacoma is just awesome with his new King Coilovers. It's good to have a little flex sometimes if not it will permanently bend or crack under serious strain.
No idea if it would have helped any of the vehicles but could you disconnect the sway bars?
When I'm gonna be doing some rock crawling or need maximum articulation it helps a lot.

....need some sliders on the Runner. Some guy took good care of it for 480K. You got lucky with it, I wouldn't be beating on it so quick.
I got the 4runner when it had 460k on it. I do drive it hard, but I also take care of it. I've done all major maintenance and soon it will undergo a color change. Thanks for watching man!

Key word... "actually working." Also, I doubt anyone who loves their Disco would even attempt this trail on stock height as you can see from all the clearance issues and body damage. Your welcome.

Might be a dumb question but does your 4Runner have rear lockers?
Pretty sure the 4th gen 4runner is stock. the 4th gen is AWD and the ATRAC system helps bridge the gap between open 4wd & full lock.
Andrey Kitsen oh for some reason I thought that was on the V8 with awd and the V6 had a choice of rear lockers.

@@DirtComplex unless you got the Trail Edition (which came with a rear e-locker).
Good luck finding a 2009 V6 trail edition with the rear locker 😂 I would rather have a V8 and add a locker if you wanted.
