That steamer you bought at a garage sale isn't for carpet. It's for steaming wrinkles outta clothes. That's why there's such a tall metal piece. It's designed so you can hook clothes on a hanger to it and steam them. It's a nice tool to have, and you got a deal. 🙂

Good times man, not enough people know how to enjoy life like you. I am in the Rockies in Canada. A month ago it was-38 , I had to run out to my truck, my winter boot was wet and it froze to the expanded metal step on the stairs, I fell forward and smashed my face off the side of my truck, almost knocked me out!! This vid reminded me of that Lolol.

If you want waterproof gloves to wear when it gets pisser cold again, kinco hydroflector gloves saved my hands a few times working in the same conditions. Cool vid!

Ghat steamer is actually a clothes steamer often used by clothing retailers to get the wrinkles out of clothes before putting them on the sales floor. They’re beasts and easy to burn yourself with. Be careful. Enjoy your videos and want you to be safe.

I have a block heater on my old truck and it’s a magnetic mount that sticks on the side of the oil pan and I just plug it in before I leave in the morning.The magnetic mount makes it so easy to put on and take off in about 30 seconds.

A 55gal plastic drum or something similar filled with hot water and pressurized with an air compressor would make epic steam. Possibly even a homemade snow maker, similar to what they have at ski resorts. Keep it up!!! Always interesting.
This is so great and beings back memories. I'm 50 now and this is how we use to entertain ourselves in our youth when life seemed more wholesome and sane.
I’m not so sure that’s a carpet cleaner. It looks more like a clothes steamer to me. They use them in clothes shops/stores to steam the creases out after unpacking. It’s quicker an easier than using an iron.
Honestly back then it was going to be a home flip to make some money but it was a good opportunity to cheaply get out of the city just moving into it for myself

We we told to have glow plugs installed in anchorage because Seattle didn’t know how to do it properly for Barrow Alaska weather. I know the engine block, oil pan, and transmission, and radiator were necessary locations for glow plugs (as if it were diesel).

I miss living in Alaska. This, and auroras, are the best part of Arctic living.
We used to fill baby pools with hot water at Rochester Institute of Technology the same way.
A 55gal plastic drum or something similar filled with hot water and pressurized with an air compressor would make epic steam. Possibly even a homemade snow maker, similar to what they have at ski resorts. Keep it up!!! Always interesting.

This is so great and beings back memories. I'm 50 now and this is how we use to entertain ourselves in our youth when life seemed more wholesome and sane.

I’m not so sure that’s a carpet cleaner. It looks more like a clothes steamer to me. They use them in clothes shops/stores to steam the creases out after unpacking. It’s quicker an easier than using an iron.

Oh yeah that nitrogen freezing is literal ice crystals forming. This is why they always tell us to not rub your hands together if you're coming in from super cold outside.

We we told to have glow plugs installed in anchorage because Seattle didn’t know how to do it properly for Barrow Alaska weather. I know the engine block, oil pan, and transmission, and radiator were necessary locations for glow plugs (as if it were diesel).
