You didn't mention my favourite feature of the Ignis. I live in a scenic area of Ireland and I wanted a small car with big windows to better enjoy the views. Most modern car designs make it seem like I'm looking at beautiful mountain and sea views through letter-box slats in a door. You feel almost trapped inside your car. But the Ignis windows are fantastic and allow me to enjoy the views to maximum effect. The height of the seats also adds to the enjoyment of a beautiful scenic environment because they allow me to see over safety barriers on mountain roads to view the valleys below. This is a really great small car if you live in a scenic area or just enjoy regular touring and sight-seeing.

What a lovely little car and the lady thank you very much you described everything superbly it's been a real pleasure watching you and I am thinking of buying one because I am looking for a little car as mine has been 12 years old now. Your description about the little car was so well scripted that it was said in layman's terms of which I understood perfectly. Thank you sweetie. I off too see how much one off these in second hand range would cost, so wish me luck. 😊🎉🎉

Ignis reminds me of my first car I loved a lot, and that's the Renault Twingo (generation 2005 - 2007). It's pitty they changed Twingo so much that it's not the car I want to buy these days. I currently drive Kia Soul (2016), but since they now make only electric models in the UK and EU, Suzuki Ignis will be my next car. The fact it has 4 x4 is a huge plus for such a small car. Thank you for the review! This sweet little SUV would be a huge hit!

My 83 years old Precious Mother finds ingress and exit, so EASY due to 180mm GC. I love the Explosive Engine and great steering response 👏
Rear leg space is excellent and boot space is adequate.

Own a 2017 automatic Ignis that I bought in Dec 2019 with just 800 miles on the clock, having previously had a smart fortwo for 12 years. And the Ignis is the logical replacement car for a smart owner, especially for forfour owners. It's spacious inside, quirky and economical to run for sure but it's also proved to be very reliable so far. Not a single fault or expensive out of warranty repair bill yet! That said the ride is a bit unrefined and hitting potholes is something you'll definitely want to avoid so much do you feel it in the cabin but overall it's a cracking little car for the money. Just a shame it doesn't have the 1 litre turbo engine as the 1.2 NA engine is a bit lackluster when going on to motorways and any fast standing starts tend to result in huge amounts of ESP intervention to prevent wheel slip as those tyres are uber skinny. Sure the interior could be more plush but it all feels like it was designed to last and where it matters most, under the hood, it seems well engineered and robust. It's not a patch on the Vitara or SCross obviously but if you're on a tighter budget and can't afford to buy either of those but still want to, take a look at an ignis, there's lots to like here!

Thinking of getting one of these next year after my MOT on current car is done. My thinking is get a 3yr old one until 2029 then get a new one. Reasoning being is in 2030 the UK car market with ICE cars V Electric. Getting new petrol one in 2029 will ensure I have ICE until im living somewhere condusive to an Electric vehicle. EV's not useful when your in a 1bed, 1st floor flat(cant imagine how messed up this is for people leaving on a 4th floor) & no charging area & where you park is 30 meters from the building you live in. This EV push is fcked up when you know currently a diesel is now cheaper & the infrastructure for EV's is simply not enough for people who cant park outside where they live or install a charger

I've had an AllGrip SZ5 Ignis for several years. The only negatives I have are:
    - The suspension in the back is REALLY bouncy, which makes it uncomfortable for passengers in the back on long trips.

Other than that, it's been a great little car.

We have a 2021 Ignis CVT and it's very good. Very smooth and easy to drive. It can rev high, as CVTs do, when you want to get a move on, but pottering around it's very quiet and frugal. We average just under 50mpg with town use and 60mpg on a run. At 70mph the CVT gearbox gives a long cruising gear, with the engine sitting at just over 2,000rpm. I'd recommend the CVT, way better than the earlier automated manual Ignis.

I have owned both the AGS Ignis which was not a true automatic and the CVT which was introduced a couple of years ago. The CVT is undoubtably the better of the two systems although it sounds different and is not the same as a more expensive full multi-gear automatic would have been. The car is definitely improved by the addition of the mild hybrid system which makes the take-up a bit peppier.

I can only speak for the UK but I found the problem with the AGS was mainly that it was not a proper automatic. It did not suit the gearbox and clutch. It would cause the car to judder in the cold at low speeds, mainly because it would change up from first to second too early. This would also cause problems when you needed to get away quickly because it would often hesitate. had a lot of work done to mine which improved things but did not eradicate these faults. I now own the CVT version which is much better especially with the mild hybrid system

Stumbled on this video today, in India this car is available. But the car width is small, in rear seat third passenger can't fit in comfortably even if he's slim. Otherwise engine is peppy as what I observed even in hills.

In my ipi5, I think you were contracted to be subjectively positive about this car. It may be labeled as a SUV by Suzuki however it is a city car with available 4WD.
The Ignis has always been a well packaged boxy city car, but calling it an SUV only makes an excuse to overprice this vehicle.😢

This is not a SUV at all, it's some small crossover. It does not fit any of the things an SUV needs - Sport Utility Vehicle. It's not utilitarian at all, it's very small, and it can't go off-road pretty much at all
