This was so clear and easy to follow! I have an older version of Photoshop, so I had to work around threshold not working on my smart objects, so I handled the layers a little differently (had to find a work around). But the steps were pretty much the same as in this video. Thank you so incredibly much for sharing this tutorial!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I love it … Loved so much I subscribed to your channel … I tried a couple videos before I found yours and I think your tutorial is the best for camouflage you do a few more steps, but it looks better than the others I made before ... I am so pleased I have a nephew retiring from the military and I need camo pattern now All I have to do is change the colors for the marines … But I am saving the pattern that has the colors you used in the video tutorial too .... that might come handy one day … I have 5 family members in different branch of services
Great job... Excellent presentation. Easy to understand! Q: How do you scale it without repeats? PS user for over 25 years... learn something every day! PS... great voice!
Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation! It will really motivate me to create more challenging items. Well, since the pattern it pretty random and abstract you won't get a seamless repeat if you lay them side by side. But as they are smart objects, you can try scaling up your entire image according to the size you need. It should automatically get applied for that resolution. Hope this helps. Kind regards
Tried to follow this and another creator but it's not working with either method. I get as far as 5:30 but when I double click the cloud filter isn't showing
Well, it can happen so if your image mode is 32Bits/Channel. It needs to be set at 8Bits/Channel or 16Bits/Channel. Can you please go to Image > Mode and check once?

Tried to follow this and another creator but it's not working with either method. I get as far as 5:30 but when I double click the cloud filter isn't showing
Well, did the Clouds apply correctly at 1:47 ? If so it should be present at 5:30

I don't think this tutorial can help me. I'm using CS6 and a lot of the steps don't produce the same results.

People need to understand you can't make a tutorial about nothing and expect it to get views smh
Yeah I agree. I hope my tutorial was not useless. I have seen many camo patterns tutorials, so thought about making one with my techniques :)
