41:10 the icon showed reduced hunger (AKA increased saturation) but it was very temporary so I'm not sure how effective it was. I slowed the video to .25x and held down the spacebar, and it showed the shank (meat leg thing) with a white arrow pointing downwards, whereas the Hunger effect (reduced saturation, like with rotten flesh) on its own doesn't have an arrow. The Hunger effect decreases saturation, meaning you need to eat again soon after. The suspicious stew gave the opposite effect

Now you say each temple has a chance of 10% for a notch apple, so 7*10% = 70% and therefore 0.7 apples (to be precise the chance of finding minimun 1 apple would be 1 - (0.9^7) = about 52% if the 10% is per temple) If on the other hand the 10% is per chest then the chance of at least 1 apple would be 1 - (0.9^28) = 95%

At 41:15 u get saturation from suspicious stew u can get that by using dandelions with red mushroom and brown mushroom and bowl . blindness suspicious stew can be got by using azure bluet flower .
I just realized he's going to have to redo this 100 days because of the Minecraft update and this time it's going to be even harder to get the "how did we get here" achievement because they added more effect and a whole lot of new achievements he is so screwed

The suspecious stew gives you a potion effect based on the flower you use in the crafting recipe. So since you bought it from a villager you didn’t know what effect it’ll give you. I think it gave you slowness, but im not 100% procent sure.
The reason you got to another place out of the Nether Portal when you tried to get "an uneasy alience" is because it matters where you stand on the nether portal. For example, if you go throught the nether portal on the right, you would end up somewhere different then if you went through the left
41:10 you got saturation. You can move frame by frame in the video by using ',' to go backwards 1 frame and '.' to go forwards. At this second you can see a glimpse of an arrow pointing downward, and the only effect with a downward arrow is saturation.
Personally, I think Peaceful is the hardest mode, because you have to choose a seed carefully, and you then have to grind to even find things like eyes of ender or a potion brewing stand.
The video was so well put together on top of your skills of the game paying off in the end and you finishing even before 100 days. Props to you SwitchBackMongo, you earned my sub.
45:00 the reason is that the portal is big, so since every one block is 8 blocks, different parts of the portal can spit you out hundreds of blocks away from each other
I have a new found respect for yall, I thought it would not only be easy but be pretty quick to set up a cool hardcore world like a lot of the minecraft youtubers do, I just got into the endgame with most of the essential farms built ie: raid, Gunpowder chicken, cow, wool, sheep, egg, wither skelly and much more, it took me a lot longer and was much harder than I expected, but at least I finally have my own good hardcore world😎
The fact that he spent 3 days grinding for bookshelves instead of looting the libraries at the Stronghold and the fact that he went mining instead of doing an iron farm keeps me awake at night. Great video tho 10/10 couldn't be me.

The most OP mob in the game is undoubtedly Creeper. They don't burn at day, can one shot you (not sure about full diamond set, but they definitely don't care about full iron armor) AND they actually creep up to you, having one of the quietest walking/ambient sounds of all mobs

Its not sturaition its hunger bc the arrow pointed down making it hunger
It is there for 6 frames
The saturation effect was also the most powerful as it restores seven hunger bars instantly which causes the instant regen factor of saturation.

Same! I was totally expecting him to say he was gonna make an iron farm when he needed beacon materials. It was a lot more interesting to see him grind it out

At 41:15 u get saturation from suspicious stew u can get that by using dandelions with red mushroom and brown mushroom and bowl . blindness suspicious stew can be got by using azure bluet flower .

@@lunar_flower734 its not difficult even i can do it there are only a few changes like bringing dolphin underground and having warden either silenced (basically not spawnable ) or make a warden farm .check out guggle farm i have a pinned comment there

Remember when hardcore only gave you 1 heart and the all of the difficulties of mobs wanting to un alive you and Everything have more health and dousing double damage? At least you got better items and have a higher chance to get rare loot more often.

The suspecious stew gives you a potion effect based on the flower you use in the crafting recipe. So since you bought it from a villager you didn’t know what effect it’ll give you. I think it gave you slowness, but im not 100% procent sure.

The reason you got to another place out of the Nether Portal when you tried to get "an uneasy alience" is because it matters where you stand on the nether portal. For example, if you go throught the nether portal on the right, you would end up somewhere different then if you went through the left

41:10 you got saturation. You can move frame by frame in the video by using ',' to go backwards 1 frame and '.' to go forwards. At this second you can see a glimpse of an arrow pointing downward, and the only effect with a downward arrow is saturation.

Personally, I think Peaceful is the hardest mode, because you have to choose a seed carefully, and you then have to grind to even find things like eyes of ender or a potion brewing stand.

45:00 the reason is that the portal is big, so since every one block is 8 blocks, different parts of the portal can spit you out hundreds of blocks away from each other
this is fun to watch, more for me than the speedruns that take 9 minecraft days, too rushed and my brain cant keep up, this was fun.
I have a new found respect for yall, I thought it would not only be easy but be pretty quick to set up a cool hardcore world like a lot of the minecraft youtubers do, I just got into the endgame with most of the essential farms built ie: raid, Gunpowder chicken, cow, wool, sheep, egg, wither skelly and much more, it took me a lot longer and was much harder than I expected, but at least I finally have my own good hardcore world😎
The fact that he spent 3 days grinding for bookshelves instead of looting the libraries at the Stronghold and the fact that he went mining instead of doing an iron farm keeps me awake at night. Great video tho 10/10 couldn't be me.

The most OP mob in the game is undoubtedly Creeper. They don't burn at day, can one shot you (not sure about full diamond set, but they definitely don't care about full iron armor) AND they actually creep up to you, having one of the quietest walking/ambient sounds of all mobs
