Wow, that makes you a celebrity in my house! Bubbe's Boarding House was a staple for us at Chanukah and Pesach, and my brother (now 25-years-old) still does Anton impersonations. :)
This is like the best Chanukah content I’ve found for my kids. Had fond memories of lambchop so I put it on and my husband was not impressed by those puppets’ attitudes lol! But this one is much more wholesome. Also I feel like nothing is watered down, all the history and concepts, even the true pronunciation of the holiday is emphasized. I really like that the idea of defending religious freedom is highlighted
Thanks for uploading this I love the Bubbe specials I watched them a lot when I was a kid! :D I just wish they made more Bubbe specials than just Chanukkah and Passover. Maybe make specials for Rosh Hashanah, Shabbat, Sukkot, or Purim, I would have loved to see that.
I have been search EVERYWHERE for this. I have it on VHS in its original box located somewhere, but this was a classic for me and my siblings way back when we were younger. I thank you so much for uploading this. I finally found this just in time for Hanukkah too.
