I was saved on July 23rd 1982 on a country road on the west coast of Ireland near a town called Dingle in county Kerry. I was standing there, looking out to sea and I realised that Jesus is God and at that moment I believed and was filled with His Spirit! I was 20 years old and for the first time in my miserable life I experienced a love that I had not encountered before. I have been the worst kind of Christian, unfaithful, sinful, lustful and wasteful but He has always been there, His amazing grace and love guiding me! There is no other God beside Him!

A creator who would enter into a world that rejected him, be tortured mocked & killed by his enemies (his own creations that turned on him) for THEIR SAKE is a god that is deserving of worship.
How does blood sacrifice work exactly? How do you kill an omnipotent being?
Muslims believe the Quran is the eternal word of Allah, when a Quran is burned Muslims do not believe the eternal word of God is destroyed, but an incarnation of it. In the same way, the only adequate sacrifice in man's place for a perfect eternal God would be a man's version of God's standard (I.E God Himself). The only adequate offering to God for the covering of man's sin in full would be for God to incarnate as one of them & die on their behalf.
This subtracts nothing from God in the same way burning a Quran does not destroy the hypothetical eternal word of Allah. The entire Old Testament is God foreshadowing this. If you want to write of Jesus, you're going to have to explain the snake on the staff, the virgin giving birth to the everlasting father, God being pierced by his foes, the suffering messiah, the crucifixion, the ram in Issac's place... it all points to God becoming a man to pay the price for mankind's sin. @@horridhenry9920

The Jesus story is a story about Jesus that many people believe. It’s not a story by Jesus.The fact that many people believe it does not make it true.
Historically and scientifically, much of it does not comport with reality.

The one who dove in to save us was God _the Father,_ the eternal Spirit who "came down from heaven" _without leaving heaven,_ and who manifested _himself_ on earth in genuine human form, as _his own_ Son, so that he could lay down _his own_ life for us, raise _himself_ from the dead, and give eternal life to all who believe on _him._
And the _name_ of this eternal Spirit is revealed to be the name which is above _every_ name: *JESUS.*
Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God is *not* the "Second Person" of a "Trinity". Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God *IS* God the Father manifested in genuine human form.

Do you know what else "doesn't make any sense"? The fact that Jesus both *died* _and_ *raised **_himself_** from the dead:* _"JESUS answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days _*_*I*_*_ will raise it up"_ (John 2:19). Jesus is not just the Son who died, but also the Father who raised the Son from the dead.
God is not "three distinct persons". God is a _unipersonal_ Spirit: _"God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM_ [singular person] _must worship HIM_ [singular person] _in spirit and in truth"_ (John 4:24). Also...
God - the one _true_ God - *IS* love (1 John 4:8,16), and HE laid down HIS own life for us (1 John 3:16), which is the greatest demonstration of love (John 15:13). The "First Person of the Trinity" did not lay down his own life for anyone, so the "First Person of the Trinity" is *not* love.......which means the "First Person of the Trinity" is *not* the one true God, but rather a _false_ God.
The one and only _true_ God is the unipersonal Spirit whose name is revealed to be the name which is above _every_ name: *JESUS.*

Many many years. Holy crap, how could someone be a professing Christian many many years, and NOT know what the gospel is, while having access to a Bible, the whole time?
I would be embarrassed.
Except why would God’s wrath falling on an innocent man be considered justice?
God doesn’t have to punish every sin. His mercy is not bound by any such concepts, and if he were bound by that something, why are we worshiping him, and not the higher power he is hypothetically bound by?
St Athanasius said “the Son of God became man so we might become God.” He took on full humanity while being fully divine to bridge the gap of sin that we created. He died to defeat the hold that death had over us. He was baptized to cleanse the waters of the earth so we might be born of water and spirit. He did many things to save us, but I don’t think “taking the wrath of God upon himself” was one of them. In the old testament, a sin offering was not ritualistically slain. There were two goats. One goat was burnt as an offering, but it was slain outside of the tent beforehand, and all the blood and impurities were disposed of before offering it to God. The sins of the people were placed on other goat and that goat was driven into the wild away from the people, and not killed. When Jesus took on the sin of the world, he did not suddenly become sinful himself. During his life, when he healed people of disease and sin, he did not become sinful, the sins were forgiven and no one was punished. If Jesus can forgive sin without punishing us, than I would think we can all agree that God does not need to punish every sin. Sin doesn’t make God not want to be around us, it makes it dangerous for him to be around us because of how holy He is.
@Mahhkz Who considers the wrath of God on an innocent man justice? The wrath of man on an innocent man, isn't justice either. The latter is what happened to Jesus. Jesus knew it would happen.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh : That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit

Then admit the Bible contradicts, or the LAW declared by Christ (new covenant, which is the ten commandments, minus the 600 plus laws through Moses), is valid, good, and HOLY.
Keeping Sunday gets you counted least in the kingdom.

At 5:24, when Romans 10:9 showed up, I realized that despite believing in my heart, I had never confessed out loud that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. So I did just that: I spoke it out loud and I prayed. I could feel the Holy Spirit within me. Awesome video, thank you!

As a non Christian, blood sacrifice makes no sense. He could have just forgiven Adam and Eve as parents forgive their children.

God is good and Holy. Evil and sin cannot exist in His presence.
This is something that scares even Christians when I put it this way. The earth and man was a miraculous creation of God to trap a rebellious spiritual being in a material prison.
The first animal slaughtered was after the Fall of Adam, who failed to protect Eve from the temptation of the serpent. In fact, the nakedness of man and the cunning of the serpent, find their origin in the same word. The animal that was slaughtered was to clothe Adam and Eve before they were banished from Eden.
Eating meat was not allowed until after the Flood, which means, again something many Christians are shocked by, we actually know that Noah did not eat meat before the Flood.
What does one have to do with the other? The Lamb of God, the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile mankind to God again. And it's not even humans who provided the sacrifice, God gave His Own Son because He love peoples so much.
And don't get caught by Christians who would claim that hell already exists. Hell will not become a reality until that spiritual being mentioned earlier is thrown into the lake of fire.
God first wants to clothe as many people as possible with Jesus blood so that they will not end up in that lake of fire with him.
In summary, may you interpret it as why things happened as they did in the Garden of Eden. Hoping that someday these words will bring you to Jesus. Though not today, I hope soon.
As a non Christian, DON'T BUY what the video says is the gospel. It's just the message/ teaching of salvation, being called the gospel. The gospel is clearly declared by Christ himself, and it AIN'T what the video says.
If you're not a Christian, but want to know what the gospel is, you can read it for yourself, after all, it's CHRIST who declared it.

Ever heard the Lord's prayer? The gospel is in it, "thy kingdom come".
Don't believe professing Christianity without the certainty of scripture, as there is a multitude of denominations and doctrine to confront.
This video, is yet another status quo gospel according to Christianity, while the true gospel can only be that declared, and taught by Christ.

The thumbnail reminds me of a very real story about a woman who fell into the river above the Niagara Falls and the current was taking her to certain death. Two park workers saw her and had a long rope in their truck. One of them managed to swim out with the rope tied around him and he managed to firmly grab her. The first words that came out of her mouth was "thank you God" and then looked at the park worker and said "thank you" too. Thank you David Wood.
