It's not about a 1 student... It's about the entire package.. If my child excel..and he or she is the only one to do so..then the school points decrease... If all GSAT kids with 100 % goes to a particular school.. . And all with 50% goes to a particular school...and they all remain on that level... It's is not about individual achievement some other schools that is not on the list may have individual students who did better than those listed here. It is the average of all the students who sat the exams that amounts to the position. If you noticed lately school have find a way like Champs to protect their position by screening students who want to sit the exam.
WOLMER'S GIRLS' and BOYS' are TOP schools. CSEC passes are good but other criteria are also vital. Wolmer's has, and continues to, produce ladies and gentlemen of quality who are God-fearing nation builders. Age quod agis!

Every year when CSEC exams results comes out this list changes. However Immaculate conception, Campion and Montego Bay High are always in the top 3. The ranking is based on CSEC exam passes (with math and English passes a must to be a part of the tally) only, so I wouldn't be worked up if your school's not in the top 10 or place high in the list. There are other things that school does other than CSEC

Top ten should not be based on csec alone. Because other schools offer more such as sports and technical areas. And been built before shouldn't make it more prestigous in all cases. These schools can't even win school challange quiz or champs.
Their British way of private schooling is much better than most schools "over in foreign",, ,,and with their uniforms and studying habits and good manners.."
Those who are asking about other schools, haven't you noticed the percentage allocated to each school? That means the amount of students who are successful among those who sat the exams. Other schools definitely have passes but a lower percentage.
I encourage all students of both school in the top ten and below to strive and do their best and become the best version of the self but don't forget to put God first and follow after we can do all thing through Christ who strengthens us.

There are no best schools per/se. The best schools would be schools that get students who cannot read and write and at the end of the 5 years get 1 or more subjects. "The top schools" mentioned here are schools that get the high performing students. What do you expect?

Chinese children in their first 9 years are only thought Chinese history, this is to give them their Chinese identity. My question is, are these so call top high schools in Jamaica grounding the black children in their Jamaica and African black identity? From what I see, it would appear that the black child is hollowed out by the education system. Their natural curiosity (the first building block of thinking), is beaten and drilled out of them and replaced with obedience and religion. As a result, you have engineering students leaving the universities who collectively can't build a bridge.
