So when Paul said he was the chief of sinners, did he say it past tense or present tense? You said you WERE but not now. Did Paul think that? Or as a believer did he say he IS the chief of sinners? See, even though Paul was born again and received the new nature he wasn't so naive as to what he still carried around and that's the old sin nature as well.

@@andrewdurfee2891 so read 1 Timothy 1:15 again. Notice Paul does NOT say I WAS chief of sinners but says I AM chief! Back that up with Romans 7. Paul says that he IS carnal not I WAS carnal. There was a war raging in his members...the new nature and the old. Paul said the things I do, I don't want to do and the things I don't, i do! Oh wretched man that I AM!

The brasen serpent that Moses was instructed to make was to heal the people after they got bit.
The problem was that later some of the Israelites starting worshipping that brasen serpent.
God is the only one to worship.
The Israelites for the most part were prone to worshipping something they could see....image worship.

We have to cover you and your family with prayers for protection Psalm 118:17-18 and other scriptures because people can use pharmacology and other things to make you do things to bring disgrace and failure as might have been done to Swaggart, Morris and others. A person paid someone to make me fail highschool SASS the person who did it confessed he was paid to do it. D in History and ungraded in seven other subjects. I am not a bright student but ungraded.
