I just found this song yesterday from a UA-cam channel. They guy used to drum in death metal bands and said the same thing. This amazing. My be my favorite song ever. I’ve played it 30 times so far. I can’t stop.
One of the best things about youtube other than getting in debates with people and trolling is seeing musicians perform songs that would make them famous when they first wrote them. I wish we could get a few more shots of the audience so we could see the reaction on their faces, these guys are awesome.
F-ing Rock! The only bad thing is I want to fight someone that's really really got it coming after I hear that damn thing. Shit of it is, I think I'm non-violent but when you been Trampled By Turtles-it changes you. God Bless America
Yeah it's really hard to tell. Depending on the lyrics site you look at you get a different answer. I think "fire-borne" makes more sense than "fiber", but who knows?
these guys remind me of the Dirty Earth. they are touring australia now, wish i could see these 2 bands play together. they'd rock the house!! youtube(.)com/thedirtyearthband is you've never heard em, they been up and coming for a couple years now. this folk/bluegrass/rock thing is a cool direction for music to go. i like it :)
They come in and out of 3 or 4 different time signatures, it's indicative to the style. Bluegrass that fast is impossible to keep up with, even on the album version it's not in the same sig the entire song. It ebbs and flows like a river, and you've gotta be really tight together to pull that off at all.
this is more metal than most of the metal i've heard lately
Chad Clements dude We arethinking the same shit. It’s the same energy.

OPEN UP THIS FUCKIN HOLLER
Did I just stumble upon some speedgrass? Damn these guys shred!
one of teh great things about TBT is that you have a lead singer but all the interments in the band are also the lead. Everyone is so talented.
I love this band. Minnesota pride. Pretty cute when a little girl hands the mandolin player his pick at the end...
Minnesota has been blessed with some of the best radio stations in the nation. The Current, and Cities 97. NICE
One must have Waited so Long to be Trampled by Turtles...

Fast forward 8 years and they play the grandstand at the fair.
Ryan Young is the best violinist ever. My hero. Love all the rest of them too. Pure talent and dedication
Fiddle!!!!!!
Boyd Tinsley is a BEAST
Great performance. Just dislike that they speed up the tempo to fit the radio broadcast.
I want to see these guys in concert!! Holyshit these guy’s bluegrass rock!! Love it!!
Fantastic live music
Headshake of that bassguitarist is so beast!
Tremendous musicians
How do you flat pick a banjo like that? Never played one but I'd need six fingers on my right hand to try.
Soooooo glad I was there this day.
Epic song. Minnesota represent.
I literally checked my UA-cam player at one point while watching this to make sure I hadn't left it on 1.5 speed.
Here it is.
I wanna know how often they break strings and what kind of strings they use
I've seen them live and the banjo player gets handed a fresh one after pretty much every song.
And he STRUMS, unbelievable every time I see it.
incredible
The banjos fricken awesome!
Awesome
LOVE IT!
HI STOP BEING PERFECT PLEASE
I love the guitarist on the far right he is in his own little world and loving every second of it
He's a bassist my dude.

How does that violin not burst into flames?
Fucking fantastic. What a performance.
All the way through... mandolin player... like a boss.
Bass player is metal as hell.
Long Live 89.3 The Current!
Dudes flat out jam!
@wrhslax1996 just look at the wear on their instruments where their picks hit. specifically the mandolin and banjo.
Motion City Soundtrack did a great cover of this
RIP these instruments
Great song and probably my favorite performance of it. But what's the song in the intro when the dj is talking?
I have been TRAMPLED...
that banjo man is my hero

@kintar90 We have JJJ over here in Australia but I've got to say I love The Current
How much faster do you want Wait So Long to be haha :P
The lyric is 'five earned fornication.'
For the people questioning.
@Iamthemessiah23 and you didn't say off beat, you said off tempo which is different

at least someone can still rock overalls
@Iamthemessiah23 sometimes bands play a little bit faster live to pump up the crowd
omg their rhythm hands are like...are like buckethead!
@cutekillerofwow the guy at the very far right plays an acoustic bass
Is it still a solo if the entire band member does it the whole song? Either way it’s awesome.
Yeehaw

@joelrulesall What bassist....?
@wrhslax1996 Charlottesville in Apr.
Turns out it's fire-borne. I couldn't have guessed it...
Just waiting on Banjo Dave's right hand to catch on fire
THE BANJO PLAYER. JASGKSHBFKGHBAD -3 So fucking impressive, and he's hot too.
2 people are the biggest haters ever.
in the vid timmy kissed the mic
The 6 dislikes were all people that missed the show because of traffic...
What's he say before "fornication"? Can't figure it out.
@Iamthemessiah23 well i cant hear that
Warning! ... Musical instruments were damaged in the making of this video.
Such is every show they do! I've never seen a string player change a string so fast in my life! They should probably contact Guinness
Its funny, cause now they would NOT be able to fit the crowd in that area now! Grandstands here they come ;)
cities 97 blows. DRIVE 105, that was a good station
that bass player...bahahahahahaha
hahahah love these guys/ but at 2:51 the bassist looks like hes got downs
öäü
