As with most videos I've seen, this was done in the wrong order. The rear is meant to be released first, and then you release the bow locks on the windshield. It's right in the owner's manual, nicely illustrated with pictures.
Learn how to work stuff before demonstrating ... You didn't release properly Didn't fold the rear roof window frame correctly (it latches in against the main roof) before folding And didn't lock the catch down when folded. So pretty well ignore this video..
Not only wrong order but you didn’t get the camera to actually show what you did with the two levers that control the rear tightening and locking and releasing of the hatch… really bad video.
What did you do at 0:50? My grandmother has one of these and I can get it where it has a gap in the rear, but is still connected by that middle pole. I don't know if it's broken or if I'm not doing something with the two handles properly....

how cumbersome. even my 1966 Fairlane 500/XL convertible beats this 10year+newer Mercedes Benz in this regard.
It’s not just reverse for putting the ragtop on - there’s a method and that’s what I need to see - ugh
