I love hearing how it got started. Wondering is there a donation softie for boys? I know little girls love dolls and I have to be honest I own most of the patterns anyway. But maybe there could be a softie for boys. That would be amazing. Anyway. I love you and what you do. My children all have fallen in love with dolls and daydreams. Thank you for all the joy you have brought through your patterns.
Hi Judy, yes there is - there's a link below in the description for a boy and a girl doll .. it's amazing how little boys love dolls too, most people think they would rather a softie - but in my observations they love dolls just as much if not more ;)

First and foremost, IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU! ;-) I've been blown away at all your dolls and to hear how you got started just touched my heart. I make Polynesian Dolls... well, specifically I make Polynesian costumes for my daughter who was a dancer and I thought it would be fun to make dolls. I couldn't make them fast enough.
I've been wanting to try converting my ideas into a softie. It's going to take me awhile because I'm now disabled and mostly bedridden, but I'm in LOVE with your dolls! Keep up the good work that you're doing. You're really touching lives! Dis old Aunty is so very proud of you! Wow! Great job on your first video, loved hearing all of the stories behind the patterns. I had a baby dolly named Violet who was blonde with blue eyes and I still wish I had her too (though I do have the photos!). I loved seeing you as a real person rather than a picture for once. Your mannerisms remind me so much of the Green Witch from Once Upon a Time, the actress is named Rebecca Leigh Mader. There's nothing wrong with laughing, lol, you have a lovely laugh!!

What a kind way to get your dolls out there! Do you send out you designs now somewhere? how does that work? I have an idea and not sure where to go from here with it?

I adore your patterns and brand and this is so wonderful to see your new yootoob which I’m sure will take biz to the next level! What I’d love to know at this moment is after you decided to start a Yootoob channel.... did you do a course? Get coaching? Get assistants? Read a book? None or all the above? I’ve been dying to start for years but I still feel clueless and paralysed by terror despite years of reading watching and thinking! Everyone says “just start” but we both know a lot of knowledge, thought, planning and skills go into preparing, presenting, producing a top quality video, and channel of videos! What major actions did you take between first deciding and... now your first amazing video? Thank you for being such a huge inspiration!

I make dolls that I sell. I have bought other doll makers patterns for years and made dolls for children in my spare time. No im interested in making my own patterns. How did you learn to digitize your patterns? Did you take a class? Is there a program that you'd recommend?

Can you provide tips on how to get the face to lay flat.
Hi Laurie, I'd love to help! What type of pattern are you working with? An ith or a sewing pattern? Are you talking about after you stuff your doll? Or when you are constructing it? Let me know and I'm sure we'll have your dolls face looking lovely in no time! 🥰💗✂️
Ith. Yes after I stuff her it still looks wrinkled. Do I need to use a special stablizer on the face section?. I am using tear away.
Ahh ok so if there is puckering around the face details you either need to 1) add more stuffing (its amazing how much you need) pack it in their with the face flat on the table top and your hand flat on the back of the head) if it's still puckering I do recommend you float some stabilizer under the faces also .... here take a look at how it's set up in this video tutorial 💗🥰 hope it helps, and feel free to post a photo in my Facebook Group

Yes! Many of my clients sell finished dress up dolls from $50 - 150 each ❤😘 depending on fabrics used and skill of the sewist.
P.s. 2020 is a crazy year craft fairs aren't open so you'd have to try marketing online.
