Dude, as a major fan of these books, I’m literally so happy they’re not only staying faithful but they’ve expertly caught the sense of adventure and humor from the books. The main three have also perfectly caught the personalities I imagined when reading these characters for the first time 🔥 thank you Disney for green lighting this adaptation

@Sinix946 Yes he would lmao. His job is to keep Percy alive, not keep him in school. Dame for Chiron. And Chiron is not a teacher, he was only posing as a teacher to scout for demigods.

I love how Annabeth makes it clear that she's in charge, but then when you see her leaving the cab she has that hint of nervousness in her eyes, because it's still her first time in a quest, the one she's been waiting for for so long, and it's been ages since she's been out in the human world. She doesn't show that to the boys, but the slight fear and nervousness is still there.
The world is so new to her !!!!
yeah, but annabeth is prob a better leader, because this one detail from the ride in water land proves it. I’m talking about when percy and annabeth are in the ride when retrieving ares’ shield in it, and smth about when they go out, percy calculates when to jump out, and so does annabeth, and I’m pretty sure you all know who was right. plus even though percy is more powerful, annabeth has a bit more experience while on the run, and is more likely to be right.
@reyuhart The only time she was ever in charge she lost all of her quest members. So percy had to take over (botl)
@@reyuhart at the end of the day, everything works better when they work as a team, with no one actively taking the lead. She's smart but Percy has good instincts, while Grover brings out-of-the-box ideas for them to complete their goals. They all balance one another greatly 😊

I like it cause he needed to make sure she got out of the taxi okay. Very good subtle foreshadowing of what’s to come. 🤗

The thing about the show is that it has the PJO soul. All (rather small?) changes make sense bc it still feels like PJO, and clearly have further seasons in mind

IM SO EXITED FOR THIS EPISODE
One small detail that could be inaccurate, but I actually liked how they pronounced ‘Thalia.’ Because a lot of ppl pronounced it too American, like ‘Tah-lee-uh’ but then some ppl realized it would’ve been pronounced differently since it was Greek. So ‘Thail-ee-uh?’ But that also sounds so wrong, so for me, when I read the books, I always did it like ‘Thah-lee-uh’ which is a combined version of the two. I’m not sure if that’s what Riordan thought of originally, but I always thought of it that way, and I’m happy to see it like that in the show.
