The idea is all right but you have to work on this macro, 1000+ gold is not efficient. I would trade hoplites for hippius, would be better for your macro since it uses mainly the same resorce as the minotaurs and they have almost the same speed as the upgraded minotaurs. i would love to see a version 2.0 of this video.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. I think you read the spectator dashboard wrong, it was the AI (red) that had that much gold. My max was 410 at 8:17 by which point i was ripping down the TC and it was GG. You were looking at 7:18 where the dashboard says red has 1000+ gold. Hoplites are also better for ripping down buildings than the hippius, especially zeus hoplites. But, yes, i do have a hippeus + toxotes rush on the way as that’s my usual strat of choice
How do I deal with Egypt in the game? When the opponent sends out a lot of priests, should I disrupt their mining early on? And should I prioritize killing their Pharaoh and priests before attacking the Town Center? ty😢
This minotaur strat can struggle against egypt because of the priests. If they have a lot of priests, micro the hoplites to kill them and avoid them with the minotaur
Depends on the civ. i expect hirsirs as norse do well, and priests as egyptians. (Both with an anti infantry support unit). If you scout it early enough you can stop it but if you dont scout, and can’t prepare then you lose i think

I know Titan difficulty sucks, but I still wonder how it was so slow on this particular game.
I was surprised that it had next to no army tbh lol. Worked well against multiple civs with bigger armies during testing though.

Don't try this against any Egyptian god. Four or five priests can snipe the monitors with ease if your opponent has a descent macro.
Yep. Egypt counter this well. They wrecked my army when doing the kronos pomethian rush. I think i mention this in the vid

Yes it does. I succeeded multiple times. Most of the time, the other guy will give up. At 3v3 it becomes tricky though.

yeah the problem is you won't learn how to play the game, it's just cheese.
