Top 4 would be an absolutely amazing achievement in such a short time. I’ve seen Maresca on the field and coaching the players. He’s top notch and we’re doing amazing. The Summer brings WCC in America. These are the steps we need to take.
Modern football is squad game and on this occasion Maresca forgot that. The cost of forgetting that is exhausted players. Felix, Nkunku and Madueke all deserved a start and Marc Guiu could have been brought on as a substitute to save Jackson's legs for Ipswich. The defence is incapable to holding the line and the only way Chelsea can hold onto leads is by scoring goals until the defensive issues are sorted. Maresca's approach was exemplary all season but he fell asleep at the wheel against Fulham. Finally, Fulham fully deserved to win and it is very rare to say that about Chelsea's opponents.
Felt ashamed of the home fan’s performance, am I seriously hearing Fulham sing the house down 1- 0 down for the entire second half, that’s a first in Chelsea HISTORY, but a perfect lesson for everyone on blue
Not in a title race doesn't mean we don't try to win all the games. Maresca's game management has been very poor last two games. We have the most depth on the bench in the league, not using subs is unacceptable from Maresca.
We have won the same amount of games as Arsenal, who are apparently 'in the title race'. There's a time to be outraged, for now it's fine. Very much still in top 4, which in general consensus was the minimum target for the season.
Maresca showed his lack of experience in the last game. You can't be leaving out Madueke and then making one sub. Maresca needs to show more faith in his bench, and I hope he learns from this that he needs to think outside the box. Things like bringing on an extra defender and an extra midfielder. I am not liking the Madueke thing as well!!! He needs to be careful!! Madueke is Chelsea's best and most direct winger, and he is a talent!!! Maresca must learn from this!!!

Salah does not have more overall longevity, he just peaked late. Hazard at 19 was carrying a club to a league title, where was Salah? Chelsea fans also had the privilege to watch both for our club, we know the kind of players both are, it's apples to oranges. I don't think Hazard would score as many as Salah ever, but I also don't think Salah could ever be a fulcrum that Hazard was. For stat merchants, check the xG-build-up per 90 for Hazard's 14-15 season during his peak. He was matching Cesc Fabregas while playing out wide! Salah has never come close. Eden carried teams.
@@hnaku8748 Salah was also busy winning 2 league titles at Basel, but nobody cares about the Swiss & French league. I don't agree with y'alls position on the Noni situation for 2 obvious reasons. 1.) Like MAH said, if it was that he wasn't doing great in training, you replace him on the first 11 and even on the bench with players who are doing better. Having 2 sub goalkeepers and players like Casadei that would never have been subbed on shows it was either an Ego decision by Maresca, an ill conceived decision or something else happened that we are not privy to. Because you don't hamstring the squad to prove a point or punish a player 2.) Training optimally at all times is not the end all and be all. Not comparing Noni to Hazard, but if Enzo Maresca had Hazard on his squad and dropped him because of how he trained, he will be a fool for doing so. Not all players train like Azpi, and managers have to find a way to balance the player's output come game day and the level they train in. And even then, even if none of my points resonate, leaving him out of the squad when you dont trust the bench enough to put them in is ABSOLUTELY STUPID and Maresca should be chastised for that. It shows that he hasn't learnt the true lesson in football - Your decisions will be judged by whether you win or not, nothing else.
And finally, if we are stupid enough to axe Noni because of some cryptic technical stance by Maresca, we will be holding our heads in shame in 2 - 3 years when Noni is lighting up the world of football. This is a 22 years old winger who hasn't even perfected his default moves. When his "cutting in on the left" and "taking you on the right" become equally deadly and his decision making elevates, we will realize we had one of the best wingers on our hands. Just you watch.
I completely agree with you. This game showed Maresca's naivity. Saka did not become who he is today all by himself. Sometimes d belief of the manager is all the player needs to build. Use Achaempong he is better thank Gusto defensively will be useful in closing out games....Maresca looked shockingly naive against Fulham
I miss having blistering speed and direct play. Neto, Jackson and Noni with Palmer and Enzo orchestrating in behind. Sancho and Neto are amazing but they need a more direct winger on the opposite wing. We’ve really missed a player in Noni who doesn’t always get it right but is always direct and causes problems. I see Noni developing into a Robben style player. With Sancho more a Ribery. Neto should be an Overmars style player.
Jackson can score running at the defenders, but he is not a striker to intimidate or really trouble a defence. This game was crying out loud for a player in the mould of Guiu. He would have unsettle that defence and physically occupy. Plus he gives a aerial threat allowing players like Neto to thread in crosses.
We need some changes. I think Cole needs to move right..like last season, like a mo sallah role..to give jao Felix room to play a 10..and Pedro or Jason on the left... Romeo and Enzo, caciedo inverting from the right...Cole change will give him more rigor room from the flank...I think Jackson should only come out for marc, otherwise keep him one, he's running down the channels, christo is not effecting the game when coming on as a center forward. Jackson subbing was wrong tactical move, Belsey kept adding momentum to Fulham down our right leaving Fulham exposed at the back, but maresca couldn't make that advantage count for us...young squad, young manager, it showed against Fulham. Maresca must learn fast
Nkunku substitution makes things worse as his pressing is absent. Gusto left hand side is vulnerable from beginning. Surprised coach never did something about that. Disasi cannot be worse. Should give Achipong and Mark a chance
What were the players on the bench for ? You could see the players were struggling on the pitch. The coach should trust the bench and should have submitted players in the forward areas.
If cucu inverts then enzo goes to half spsce between nico and neto on the right hence cole need to go left.he looks more dangerous on the right Imo . Thats why cucu doesn’t invert more often

One thing that was touched on that I was so hoping you would pursue was something I've wobbled on about since prem changes (IE, passing out from the back, inverting fullbacks, etc), is that the modern game is so physical and transitional. Malo Gusto’s lack of attacking output is holding this team back. He’s not solid enough to be in the back three with Cucurella inverting. He’s also isn’t nearly good enough in the attacking third to be the one inverting into that wandering 10 role. He does not fit the system and has led to breakdowns in attack or missed opportunities several times in the last few weeks.
We need a WC striker with different characteristics from Jackson. Vlahovic for me, his physical presence would make a difference, plus he only has 18 months left in his current contract...
Thank God I saw trophies in the 80s and 90s.Our fan's are so privileged they think they should be winning trophies just coz the owner sorted the facilities out for the next 100yrs.It's the same mid table squad throughout history with half the player's out.Expecting to win a trophy every season when you haven't won an FA Cup in 35yrs is insane. If they ain't crying about Levy every defeat it's the manager, you don't see that with any other club's fan's that haven't won a trophy in a while.
I am worried last season is going to be repeated. I know Jackson missed two games due to being called up to the National team but he went from mid December to February without scoring.
I don't think Palmer is a game changer as yet. He can impact the game but he's not a world beater. We depend on him too much. Need to use the squad better
Maresca has caused a rift inside the dressing room as seen in our last 2 games as way too many whispers are backing this up, Im all up for being strict and having rules but clearly its affecting his judgement and very stubborn niave nature, not using felix or Guiu to try something different or mixing up front line to confuse oponents as Jose and Tuchel could do, also there must be other punishments rather than dropping a flair player like Noni when at least he would have offered an option at minimum, also whats with late subs now too we can all see clearly things were wrong vs everton and fulham yet he left things to decline, championship mentaility and level coach is coming unstuck just as leciester fans told us he would his ego will be his downfall
Wen we started the league he was making these changes wen we really needed to change bt nw its the opposite he makes one change of which Nkunku is not a striker at all we had Giu on the bench we had Achaempong on tht side for Gusto has been awfull of late Palmer shld hv been subbed it doesnt matter u are an elite player the boy needs a rest play Nkunku or Felix yess he is our best player bt to keep hm on wen he is not perfoming is useless to me Maresca is starting to annoy lets loose the game wen w know we hve done our best bt loosing at hme in that manner especially to Fulham its so hurtfull
I feel Mudryk is more clinical than sancho, sancho holds on ball too much n never feeds the forwards to score. Sancho should be a 20mins come on to full time, he’s not a starter. Mudryk cuts in n shoots, u hardly see this from Sancho. Neto n Madueke are sharp on attack but not Sancho. Manager should use him on the bench; Acheapong n others very good, give the new legs chance to compete with the rest. Palmer should have been sub, Enzo the same. Folks should stop blames on Sanchez. Nkunku is very good but u have to know how to use him. If wingers are not feeding him what do you expect him to do 🫤
Does Maresca trust his squad? SHOULD Maresca trust his squad? It’s the done thing to dig out the gaffer after any loss, but it’s equally possible that he made the decisions that gave the team the best chance to win and they just didn’t win. The other team also gets paid to win.
Chelsea is not a one-man team. i am tired of you talking about Cole Palmer. Just because he's a UK player it doesn't, he always must play. This coach is costing us points.
So enzo all of a sudden becomes rubbish what are you going on about ,championship manager who has lost 1 game in 7 in his first season with the mess he walked into ,gets us to 2nd and you complain .Obviously a new age cfc fan .
Problem is he thinks he is better, than he actually is . he is Pep mini me , wanna be , and going to win nothing in PL. that is guaranteed. A coach going out publicly roasting an yang player ( look at me I am a big boss) is a disgusting and show the guy has no class but has some issues instead

Chalobah should definitely be in this Squad...My opinion we need a Top keeper... Leno better than Sanchez... I agree i think Nkuku gonna have too go....He does seem too fit EPL... and we need a T.Silva in the Squad...
Marescu must reflect upon himself as well esp in game management and substitutions
Like how reasonable and positive this way. The outrage has been insane the last 24 hours
good analysis
We lost once since when, talk about guardiola arteta and amorim and there recent records
Sancho = Grealish simples.Good skilful player, not enough pace, not enough end product
Am i the only that thinks Tosin is slow af? He doesnt have any pace at all, or am i imagining it? 😅
Yes 💯 🐌 in chameleon body lol 😆😅
We need a Giorgio Scalvini at the back
I am worried last season is going to be repeated. I know Jackson missed two games due to being called up to the National team but he went from mid December to February without scoring.
I don't think Palmer is a game changer as yet. He can impact the game but he's not a world beater. We depend on him too much. Need to use the squad better
This is why we say we are not In the title race
Gusto should not be inverted.
We need to offload players, we need players to back Enzo Caicedo gusto Neto if they are subbed
I love buzaglo
Up the Chels
Happy new year to Chelsea fans
End of the season. The top team has alot more than points than Chelsea. So no Title win no Title challenge.
FYI
Felix is not on Marescas plan
Sanchez going long and us losing it every single time he does it. It was driving me insane 😒
If wingers are not feeding him what do you expect him to do 🫤
Maresca should stop trying to demoralise his players- he shouldn’t be doing that with Madueke
Though I love all sports, it would be great if there was a separate account for this for fans to filter out the waffle, or perhaps there is a podcast?
He didn't yesterday, only bringing on 1 sub !
We are not in a title race, let’s never make subs ever again.
Bring. On. Fresh. Legs. Late. In. The. Game! It's just that simple...
Does Maresca trust his squad? SHOULD Maresca trust his squad? It’s the done thing to dig out the gaffer after any loss, but it’s equally possible that he made the decisions that gave the team the best chance to win and they just didn’t win. The other team also gets paid to win.
Anyone fancy a cheeky bid for Neymar?
This loss is on maresca , poor subs nkunku brought no energy
One sub is inexcusable. He was wrong.
We need Connor Gallagher...
This Chelsea team is the Minnesota Vikings if you know you know🤦🏼♂️👆
Nukunku and caisedo is the only world class players in the team and the championship coach dont know how to use him lol
Nkunku as sub makes things worse
Chelsea is not a one-man team. i am tired of you talking about Cole Palmer. Just because he's a UK player it doesn't, he always must play. This coach is costing us points.
I don’t know about Maresca, but I do not trust this Chelsea team. After loosing to Fulham at home.
💙💙💙👏
Against Low blocks, use a dribbler like Felix. He can win penalties
We need a deadly striker, Oshimen
Sorry for the Chelsea loss, mainly because it means we won't get to see Olivia's radiant smile as often 😅
This coach has decided to learn the hard way and he will, an angry locker room and fans will teach him a lesson
Not to win anything major he doesn’t. We don’t know the dark arts and to hold a clean sheet.
Why's Jason got a toilet brush stuck on his head 😂
We're not in title race so no need to worry too much 😂
Enzo Maresca showing why he is a championship manager. Too stubborn to make changes
What a moronic take jesus haha
So enzo all of a sudden becomes rubbish what are you going on about ,championship manager who has lost 1 game in 7 in his first season with the mess he walked into ,gets us to 2nd and you complain .Obviously a new age cfc fan .
He always was, winning vs average teams and fans think he is pep ,the reality is he is a chinese version of pep
Problem is he thinks he is better, than he actually is . he is Pep mini me , wanna be , and going to win nothing in PL. that is guaranteed. A coach going out publicly roasting an yang player ( look at me I am a big boss) is a disgusting and show the guy has no class but has some issues instead
wtf are u on about lmao
@desmondrowlandwoodall7694 you could not guess
@desmondrowlandwoodall7694 Mareska obviously
Chelsea not in title race, 4 loss all season so far, just chill. Fulham was good
Malo Gusto’s lack of attacking output is holding this team back. He’s not solid enough to be in the back three with Cucurella inverting.
