    Fekkys serious still, remember coming off the roads and getting my first job in a call centre for Vodafone and he came through as a customer looking for his delayed phone repair, the mannerisms and respect that guy posses even over the phone to a 9-5 worker, he motivated me to stick to the work ting and find my craft on the side. Big homage to Fekz 1 hunna never really wrote a comment

    the MAIN FOUR you need for a good skin care routine is a cleanser, exfoliator, moisturiser and sun cream.
    1. with the cleanser you want something good and simple if you're dry skin use a cream cleanser and if you're on the oily side try a gel or a foam cleanser. (avoid cleansers with harsh alcohols and exfoliating bits!) your face shouldn't feel instantly tight or dry after cleansing if so try one more hydrating and less stripping.
    2. exfoliators release dead skin cells, pollution and dirt in the pores and skin.
    physical exfoliators like scrubs can sometimes do more damage than good and doesn't penetrate the skin evenly, try chemical (liquid) exfoliants, start slow with something like a lactic acid and once you've experienced and progressed with it move onto an AHA (best for dry skin) or a BHA (best for oily skin) DON'T EXFOLIATE DAILY you can risk drying out and irritating your skin barrier, start once a week and once your skin adjusts, 2-3 times a week max
    3. moisturises keeps the moisture locked in your skin we experience transepidermal water loss throughout the day from daily activity and the environments around us a good moisturiser helps lock all that moisture in and keeps your skin plump and not dry. EVEN IF YOU'RE SKIN TYPE IS OILY you should still moisturise, if not your skin will over produce oils to compensate, find a good cream that is a little thinner if you need, with minimal fragrance. If you wanna smell nice use perfume!
    4. 80% OF PREMATURE AGEING IS CAUSED BY THE SUN (UV) you should use a facial SPF in your routine everyday (not night) to protect yourself from UV rays even if it's not sunny.
    Especially for us melanated people with darker completions SPF will help stop your hyperpigmentation (dark marks) from darkening further and prevents early fine lines and wrinkles
    GOOD SKIN CARE BRANDS: The Ordinary, Cerave, Cetaphil, Inkey List, First Aid Beauty, Paula's Choice, Curology, Youth To The People, COSRX
    *you can use serums after cleansing and before moisturising to help target any attributes of your skin you’d like to improve.
    serums are a light viscous liquid easily absorbed by the skin that contains vitamins and ingredients to help improve blemishes, darkness, hydration, sebum production and much more!

    Chuck's don't change your skin routine, because your skin is used to how you've been treating it. The key is consistency and man has clear skin already so don't switch it up. Man will have you thinking you need to do more work but you already have what they're working for.

    40:00 I loved this discussion so much unlearning trauma responses and reactivity is a long and hard process tbh. Think about it like this, you've been caring that trauma unknowingly for X amount of years, you finally realise it and choose to address it (which can be a painful process within itself), then unlearning and remembering to practice new behaviour patterns in real time after yearssss of reacting another way...WHEW CHILE. 🙇🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️
    💆🏾‍♀️ Healing is a process which some don't realise is a lot harder, turbulent, painful than the comfort of unhealthy behaviour. It's definitely worth it on the other side but the changes don't happen over night. SO IMPORTANT TO TREAT YOURSELF & OTHERS WITH GRACE.

The glycolic toner from their collection id apparently soo good many good reviews but i havent tried it myself. Try the AHA + BHA peeling solution for chemical exfoliation because black skin sometimes doesn’t react well to physical exfoliations. Once again it all comes down to children from an early age need to learn exactly how dating and relationships actually work plus learn exactly how to manage their emotions and problems effectively so when they reach adulthood they won't be going through certain problems that are easily avoidable. Because it's immature and ignorant to think someone can read your mind. Even if they get things right assuming most of the time. But effective communication is and will always be key...harsh truth or harsh facts?

    • @JossSimmonsTheBrand
      @JossSimmonsTheBrand 2 роки тому +3

      this is it exactly .. work with children and families... and one thing i focus on is the importance of children learning what healthy relationships and healthy attachments look and feel like... Plus children learn love and life from said environment ..
      Children are products of their environment.. and adults be the curators... so much to get into with all of this .. but we need to do our best as adults. To work on ourselves constantly, and pick up habits that will benefit our villages .. so much to unpack with this ..

    • @JYGtube
      @JYGtube 2 роки тому +5

      I don't think it's necessarily down to learning how dating and relationships work specifically. I think teaching them how to communicate properly with people is key. Either way the only way to really learn is through experience and if you have good communicative skills you should be able to navigate and conduct yourself in a correct manner.

    • @JossSimmonsTheBrand
      @JossSimmonsTheBrand 2 роки тому +3

      @@JYGtube yes it's all part and parcel .. and not dating .. more so learning what healthy relationships and healthy attachment's are but us adults giving them to said children ( Relationships as in adult child bonds. Not just romantic types. Like hspwing children how to communicate well which can enhance a healthy attachment with carer, adult or Freind etc ) .. so much other Healthy habits will stem from that .. communication.. managing of emotions , I've learnt building on these things with children from young .. also adds to them learning what Healthy communication is from us adults mirroring that constantly..

    Someone said i can use Phillips One Blade down there i'll give it a go.
    REGARDING the face lotion etc, please remember we have a different skin type to our white brothers - meaning they don't need to moisturise like we do. Our skin is (typically) drier than European/Caucasian skin and we tend to use moisturiser more often.
    Example. I take longer to get ready when I get out of the shower because I have to cream my face, arms, part of stomach (scarring), legs, feet and THEN get dressed. I find I need to explain the skin difference to most of my white friends, but one friend with Psoriasis 100% understands exactly what it is like.
    But yeah. Callum doesn't need to moisturise - if I asked if he moisturises his legs so they don't dry out, I 99% bet he says ''no''.

    Hasn't Jada and Will said many times that they are in a open relationship within the marriage though? That relationship is so open to the point where Jada opened it to the public. Realistically they don't have to explain anything to us because whatever they are going through and are doing? Will already knows about it. He may not be comfortable with everything Jada puts on the table but its not shocking to him. Will has become accustomed to Jada and she has treated him. I think Will has accepted that he will always be second best and will never completely fulfil Jada's pleasures sexually and other areas. Some people become so accustomed and comfortable with each other out of convenience no longer attraction or love.

    So men cheat and forget? When they get cheated on it doesn't occur to them that they cheated on their partner? Why do they need a reminder? (Because they think their pain is more important & it matters less when they disrespected their partner). Expecting men to remember they cheated on you is expecting them to read your mind apparently

    I'm not gonna spill the brand that I use because everyone gonna think I'm mad because it's expeeeeeensive! But a starter brand to use for facial skin conditioning is Clinique. Buy an exfoliant, cleanser and a toner. With my 3-step process I don't even put cream on my face, the cleanser and toner is saturating enough.
    If u want ur skin to look good, trust me when I say, don't buy no cheap product, causes more damage. Oh and a serum is the shit! A night time serum is 👌🏾 dem retnoid tings work magic!!!
    Okay I'll spill what brand of skin care I use but don't judge me..... La Mer!!!
