I’m in the “not into transformers” camp so I’ll have to see if I can see this one with some grand children. The only film in the franchise I could say I liked was Bumblebee due to the excellent Hailee Steinfeld. True Grit is one of my all time favorite flicks.
@@MovieReviewMom Yes on Pitch Perfect 2 but bailed after that. Edge of seventeen was pretty fun due to the back and forth with her and Woody Harrelson’s snarky school teacher. With both of them on screen you’re gonna have some fun.
Autobots, transform, and roll out. I actually enjoy this movie? It took so long to actually make a movie that a storyline of how they become sworn enemies. One of the best transformers of the franchise? How are you doing today and how your day?
Hello Doctor. I am glad you are feeling better. 1 = You didn't list the swearing in the movie. Are you eliminating that from your reviews, or did you forget that segment? I'm just curious. I found B-127's self-appointed nickname very funny, but I don't think it is a responsible moniker for a children's film. 2 = The movie doesn't have "blood and guts" in the usual why we think of that because the characters are robots. However, there was a factor that I overlooked about the violence of the film that my mother picked up on. I discussed that in my own review. I hope you'll check it out. 3 = The mouthful quote by Orion Pax that you mentioned dates all the way back to the original toy line from the 1980s launch. All of the toys came with character description cards. The cards described the characters' personalities, mechanical statics, and a personalize motto. "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" was the motto of Optimus Prime. 4 = I didn't know that there was an official Transformers data binder. I am glad that someone has kept up with the information. 5 = Movie trailers from space? The crazy things people spend time and money on to promote a project. LOL
Thanks for all of your comments! You sound like a true Transformers fan! 1) I heard "mild" profanity. Did you hear any F-bombs? Does B-127 have a hidden, vulgar meaning that I don't know of? 2) What did your mother think of the robot violence? I'll watch your review! 3) I wasn't into Transformers toys, so thanks for that bit of history! 4) :) 5) That just shows you how much money they thought they were going to make with this film!
@@MovieReviewMom As you noted, the movie is rated PG. There were a couple of the usual H*lls and d*mns and sh*t her and there. Orion Pax attempted to flip off his supervisor by showing how one of his fingers can transform. In terms of B-127, he gave himself the name Bada$$atron! That nickname was in the trailer, but I expected it to be a one and done joke. Instead, he repeated the nickname several times. Considering that Bumblebee is the favorite character for most little children, I can imagine kids repeating that nickname whenever they talk about the movie or the character. In fact, many of the other reviewers that I watch said that the nickname was among their factor things about the movie. If grown ups are gleeful about the nickname, then I know the younglings probably loved it too. 🤔
@@HighHeelKnight Right! I can see kids wanting to use Bumblebee's "new" name too. I completely forgot to mention that. I think I still have Covid brain! I'm still recovering and don't quite feel like myself yet. (sigh) Thanks for all of your comments!
A lot of fun and a breath of fresh air to this franchise
Funny and deep
Great review!
Thanks for watching!

I adore Hailee Steinfield too! Have you ever seen her in Pitch Perfect 2 & 3? She can sing and dance and is so talented!

Have you seen it yet? Are you a fan of the Transformers franchise? If not, then you can skip this one.
