It’s a breath of fresh air honestly, people letting their guards down and having some laughs.
Facts
PC culture is ending
Ben Affleck should’ve called in sick
I hope he gets help. Dude really looks unwell.
Affleck was the worst...besides Kim K
I was waiting to hear the jet & nanny & Affect joke but they missed it.
@@newloon Kim at least got her lines out coherently. She stuck to the script. Ben was unhinged.
He fell of the wagon or JLO is spending his millions.
Tony Hincliffe was amazing
Who's that?
Tony only makes me laugh when Redbar is trashing him...
@@soysaucehairdye7869amen. 😂😂😂
@@soysaucehairdye7869I'm sure Redbar's watching
The george floyd joke was the best.
It was phenomenal. Nikki and Tony totally killed it
Bill - you nailed it, we've now got our closure for the end of an era, RIP Dynasty !
Peyton actually did make a hair joke, something along the lines of how do you have more hair than me?
It was more like, "you have more rings and more fake hair than me"
Bledsoe was great... he was strong and his delivery was such that it came off like he does this all the time.
Him and Jules were the best non comedians
@@AndrewWright1998 I think the biggest, little mentioned highlight of the night was the open with BB, Brady & Bledsoe. Killed!!!
Years ago, back when you could swear at NFL games, we were chirping Brady hard as he was doing a pre-game working out (with some elastic harness thing) from the 6th row In Orchard Park. He comes over to the wall and says to us. You two aren't from Buffalo. We're like "umm.. no sorry for yelling at you we're from Hamilton". Without skipping a beat he smiles, and says, "Ti-Cats fans. Makes sense." then walks away. I had no doubts he was going to have a good roast.
Belichick won so hard at that roast, he obviously really loves Brady, Gronk, Edelman and Moss but absolutely despises Kraft lmao and he took the jokes hurled at him like a champ, I actually can’t believe he decided to show up for that, seems so out of character for him.
The media really seems to have him all wrong. He was genuinely sweet and classy last night
My favorite part was the “do you miss me” to Tom Brady out of nowhere.
He hates Danny amendola too which is understandable
Liked how he treated Harrison, who seemed moved by BB's words. Amendola needed a check. Granted, clutch post season, but playing for BB gets you a good payoff with another team. 8M guaranteed with a rival team, with a knee issue after being at best a number 3 WR, 5 TDs in the following 4 years. No appreciation for BB. People will remember the roast more than the Apple doc.
@@Heywoodjablome1964 Now see, for years all the media had to go on were grunts and "On to Cincinnati." BUT if you are a Pats fan, you heard stories of the other side of BB, so it's less shocking. But we live in a word where both exist. In certain situations, he is very much the BB the world knows. But on a personal level, very different. And the BB that showed up didn't come to work. He came to see his friends (Kraft excluded lol)
Nikki and Tony were the MVPs, but I’m not shocked about the Moynahan stuff, I mean Tom did do that shit😂😂
Thanks to Tom Brady Roast. Coach Bill was the winner- he was funny.
Guess ross didn't get the memo, no Kraft massage jokes!
Pretty good joke too linking those 2 stories together is funny
It seems Brady’s response was part of the joke
@@blazinpyromaniacdidn’t seem like that at all. Seemed like he didn’t want anybody making fun of Daddy Kraft.
"Fuck you, Tom!" I laughed every time Kevin Hart yelled it into the mic!! This was absolutely bonkers insane hilarious!
Tony was the top roaster! He murdered everyone!
It was weird watching that malnourished limp wristed pipsqueak destroy all those giant jocks with just words
Can’t wait for the Lebron Roast with surprise guest Delonte West
I might be wrong, but I don't see Lebron taking it all the way Brady did. Or, for that matter, having enough material. While he has the game cred to be up there, I'm just not sure all of America knows or cares enough about things that went down to do a long roast. Magic Johnson, on the other hand, might have more potential IMHO
Tony schooled all, best roasting in national tv ever
I'm going to see him at kill Tony next Sunday. I was there so good!!!
Greg Giraldo's reincarnated corpse would like a word.
I thought it was the weakest, it was just straight forward and to the point, and the least uncomfortable. I think people searching for comfort liked him the most. Nikki Glaser was almost as uncomfortable as Kevin Hart’s roast in the beginning. While also being hilarious. She won that whole thing.
@@VonJayTf you smoking? Tony's jokes were the most uncomfortable. No one had the reaction to their jokes that Tony had. I mean the George Floyd joke, Kyle Rittenhouse? He was killing it
@@okay1775 they were straight forward and not creative at all. Idk bro my friends and I have been roasting each other for years. Not saying that we’re funny. But he said things I would say in the fourth grade.
2 bears one cave bombed
I feel bad for Tom Segura because I think he’s funny but I hate Bert Kreischer and I feel like it was probably they were invited to do it as a duo or not at all, because there were already too many roasters so they did their schtick but it was bad, Bert sucks
Schulz, Glaser, Hinchcliffe, and Manning killed it.
Bledsoe was amazing too
There were absolutely NO LOSERS, it was a spectacular event from start to finish and beyond. Nikki gets the MVP, Giselle (how ever you spell it) gets what she deserved and Kim gets mad RESPECT for even showing up. She definitely never deserved to be booed and I guess there were losers after all. The booers, absolute LOSERS!
Kim gets respect for showing up? lol ok
I'm a longtime suffering Denver Broncos fan and I really enjoyed the Roast of Tom Brady! It also was fun seeing him respond to both Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. I also enjoyed seeing Payton Manning come in and roast him as well. It was a "giant" win for Netflix!
I think the "Gronk is dumb" and "Kevin Hart is short" jokes are so tired but there was a lot of clever setups for them, so it didn't bother me. I really enjoyed the entire show. The bombs made the hits worth it.
Bledsoe Killed it Last Night 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nikki Glazer went from “She’s kind of funny, but not sure why she’s famous”, and turned into a fucking legend.
The Gronk/Crypto Currency Joke was Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nikki has always been good in my opinion. Shes the best “im a slut and like to talk about it” comedian. Shes cool
She’s been killing at roasts for a while now. I’ll watch her roast clips before her actual standup.
Agreed. She fkin killed
When she called Edelman a squinty eyed fuck boy. EPIC
Bill staying on the dais and taking his lumps was a G move.
Colts fan here. Loved it
Bob Kraft telling Brady the raiders already did his favorite thing by getting rid of Jimmy Garoppolo was hilarious
Bledsoe honestly seemed like the coolest guy there.
Honestly, biggest loser? Giselle. She got low key trashed and basically called an outright 304 in front of the entire world.
Well, she did cheat on a top 0.1% man who by all accounts is also a good guy
Rightfully so.
I’m sure she could care less lol
she moved on years ago. I don't think she cares. Tom is th3 304 as he is in the streets. She is in a relationship.
@@Anthonycheesman33 You're delusional.
I liked the joke about everyone having a ring but Randy Moss, even Drew Bledsoe from the hospital, and Aaron Hernandez, around his neck... funny lady. I also laughed when Gronk spiked the shot glass (not sure if that was planned)
Kissing his Kids was off limits for sure
Yeah Bledsoe said in an interview that everyone's kids were off limits.
Those kids are going to be hearing these roast jokes about their mom forever anyway. They're the biggest losers of the roast to be honest.
Tony Hinchcliffe owned the night with his driveby massacre. The. guy was spitting flames. I would have loved to have seen Pete Davidson and Jeselnik but overall a pretty good deus.
Jeselnik would've been good
Fuck Pete Davidson he shoulda went to work with his dad that day
Not shane? Jeselnik is a tired hack compared to shane
@@charwest5892 would've loved to have had shane on there too
The Roast was hilarious. The only person missing was Greg Giraldo. RIP
Natasha Leggero.
Yup
Fuck to think Greg passed like halfway into Brady's career.
Nikki was the best of the night. Start to finish, top stuff, GREAT delivery.
Watched 3 podcast reviews of the roast so far today. Not a peep about Tony Hinchcliffe. That’s unbelievable. He was amazing
I didn’t appreciate the Foxboro high slander
King Phillip 😂
Peyton manning roasted his hair at the end
Great roast. The only time i was not enjoying it was the Ben Affleck bit. I had to skip after a while. I also think they missed a huge opportunity not bringing in Eli Manning
Could you imagine why the Eli there
The Jeff Ross/Brady thing was almost certainly a planned bit. Kraft certainly seemed like he was somewhat off-limits or the material was heavily vetted (which is fine, he probably wanted to be there and didn't want too many strays) but that was a moment that made people think Brady was more uncomfortable than he probably was and gave a sense, in a live setting, that anything can happen and anybody can say something that could tick him off. Whether planned or not, it benefited the roast.
Scottie Pippen should be next.
Brady has to protect Kraft because he needs Kraft to help him buy the Raiders. He needs Kraft to help him convince the other owners to give the greenlight.
Nikki Glaser killed it, among the other great roasters... that crypto joke... 😊 Kevin Hart, great roaster, can take as good as he can give...
How did you not mention Ben Affleck's meltdown?
Because Bill knows Ben Affleck would never talk to him again if he did.
BS needs to keep up on Podcasts, Edelman has a great podcast and has done a couple terrific episodes with Gronk. Their performances not surprising at all.
Jules is hilarious, I knew he'd kill
Shultz, Hinchliffe, and Glazer were the best comedian performances. Hart did a great job too
Bill missed, there was a small joke about Brady's hair, near the end of the roast. I forget who made it, maybe Schulz? It was some kind of flyby comment about him having hair plugs or something. It was very quick and right after a bigger joke, so it's easy to miss
Niki rocket it, and it was an amazing roast, great show!🤩🤣🤣👍
Kim wasn't booed bc of freaking Taylor swift... its bc she's kim kardashian and everyone was wondering wtf she she was there
I could have done with 50% less "Gronk is dumb" jokes. It was the hacky low hanging fruit of the roast and there was so much of it that eventually it just became mean spirited. Tony is still the king of roasts!!!
Good stuff, Billy
Did Belichick do an “on to Cincinnati” joke?
Someone did can't remember if he did.
I gotta check it out
Bill did a great job for not being a comedian and being completely uncomfortable
I like how they roasted him then he came out and everyone was like ooooooh Darth is here.😂
It was pure 🔥
I was there live and the energy was insane
Jeff was not a loser at all. He was the best one there. Brady was mad but that was the best joke of the night
Jeff is way better than this usually. He as average yesterday
Ben Affleck's coke rant
Dude was definitely coked out of his mind lol
How can you tell? I always assumed he had a permaslur after alcoholism
Biggest loser was Affleck.
Kim West is the worst of all.
He was awful. I wonder if he was drunk?
Comedy has to be uncensored. Glad to see Netflix coming back from all that ridiculous stuff with Chappelle and letting artists (gasp) be artists.
Comedy is always uncensored. What are you talking about? Speaking your mind is part of the craft.
The Winners: Everyone except Ben Affleck
How did they not have Bill Burr? huge Patriot fan, Boston native, funniest guy today
Bill thinks he's too good for the roasts.. should've had jeselnik tho. Or David lucas.
Bill roasting Brady is kind of sacrilegious. And I’m a dolphins fan.
The Bulls next..... MJ and the Boyz... get it all out...😆
I love MJ but there is zero chance he would subject himself to that. And zero chance Scottie would be able to take jokes about his ex-wife. And zero chance Ron Harper would be able to complete a joke in under 7 minutes.
😆 You Right 💯
why don't understand how a guy like TB who is rich af, agreed to do this, I respect it, I can't handle something like it, everybody can roast me as much as they want as I'm not present I don't want to be there
I laughed a lot but it was really uncomfortable, especially Kevin Hart’s bit and Nikki Glaser.
Kraft: Give me back me back my fucking ring!
😂😂😂
Tony hinchcliff had the best roasts. Nikki was second and Shultz was 3rd.
Tony and Nikki were a cut above everyone else and Ben seemed like he thought he was supposed to just rant about internet trolls
Reminded me of Jay and Silent Bob getting fired up about shit posts online and replying lol he looked like he had just killed another hooker again
Nikki Glazer DESTROYED!!!
I agree roasts will be back after this amazing event. But unfortunately, as far as roastees go, it's almost impossible to top Brady since he is, for all intents and purposes, an actual real life Captain America (whether you love or hate him, we all know it's true). Maybe Lebron? Nah. Possibly Jordan, but he's been gone a long time now (although obviously that would command a massive viewership). Like, regardless who you name, they still aren't a bigger draw than Brady. Trump, yeah- but he's done it already. In other words, this was just a fantastic move on the part of Netflix.
HAIR - somebody nailed Toms fake hair hard one time.
Didn't realize the background on why BB slighted only Amendola. That makes it even funnier.
I was almost not going to go but decided the last minute. One of the best decisions. It was a nonstop 3hr laugh fest that was legendary
It was the best roast ive ever seen.
Nikki Glazer won the night
I'll watch it because i love roasts. i think it's so interesting to see the interactions. Even tho i hate the pats, only Patriot i actually like is bellichick.
Video idea: Tom Brady Super Bowl draft.
Peyton did talk about fake hair. It was quick but he did it.
I like they did it live. 😂
You think Belichick wrote his own monologue?
Of all the people there to make a 9/11 joke, i never would have guessed Tom Brady. It almost made up for him seeming to panic over the Kraft joke.
Kim's momager has to be freaking out over the boos she got.
The Kraft thing was a joke. Brady dealt with microphones his whole adult life. If course he knows it would get picked up
How do you not mention tony?
Peyton Manning said Brady had fake hair. Bill missed it.
The reason this roast worked is because all of the people that had a beef with Brady (Bledsoe, Belichick, Manning) and all of the people that could zing him (Moss, Gronk, Edelman) were there.
What Comedy Central always got wrong is they rarely had close friends appear that knew the Roastee. I remember the Chevy Chase Roast didn’t have anyone from SNL or his movies and it was a bunch B and C level comedian roasting him.
If Belichick or Bledsoe doesn’t show last night, it’s not as good. If Kraft doesn’t show, it’s not as good. All the key Patriots from the Dynasty were to air their grievances. Yes Glaser and Ross were funny, but they are irrelevant if they don’t know Tom. The best roast jokes are when you know someone and there is a grain of truth to it.
If the roast were only the athletes, it would've sucked and you would've been bored. You need the comics, especially roast pros like Nikki, to keep it going.
No mention of how fn awful Ben Affleck was? lol He was, without a doubt, the biggest loser of the night and snatched the title from Kardashian.
Bert Kreischer is insufferable, and just somehow lucky enough to be in that particular inner circle of comedians that were on that roast. Bill Burr should have been invited, I’d be curious to know if he was and just declined, or if he was never even approached. I think it would be insulting if he was not even at least offered the opportunity
Hey Bill, did you get your jam yet? You've received jar #50, still waiting for your IG post. Chop Chop - Love, Meg!
We need to study why Diss Culture is taking over right now. I think it’s ultimately healthy and cathartic
pushback against the feminization of everything
These roasts have become more rare lately, used to be 3 or 4 a year
Black American culture bleeds into other things
@@ShatterNWONo it’s pushback against over-political correctness!
@@blaketindle4703 which is part of the feminization of society, policing language is generally a woman thing, ball bust/roasting is generally a man thing.
Tony killed everybody
Manning did have a hair joke
No mention of Tony? He was the best set of the event.
the line not to be crossed was the massage jokes. Tom killed that sh REAL quick on Ross. That was an awkward moment.
I am not so sure anymore. Ross insists Brady was joking and let's face it, that massage joke was a marshmallow compared to the other roast shit that followed.
Kim kinda turned it around tho. I wouldve booed her and then applauded after that set.
Kim made a reference in directly about Tom Brady’s hair They Showed a pic of the different hair styles.
Hinchliffe stole that shit
Not from Nikki😄
Bill you don’t mention Kill Tony? Seriously?
You're mistaken about the BB-Kraft toast, he turned to touch glass with Tom and I didn't see any hesitation myself
They did make a joke about his hair.
How did you not mention Tony Hinchliffe?? Wow. He was easily the best. He killed at everything.
Tony Hinchcliffe felt like a winner too
I'm from Michigan and obviously am a Brady fan. A lot of people forget he was a 6th round pick. In Michigan we knew though, he never got rattled.
I am only ten minutes into the Netflix special and am pumped for it. Scrolling around without reading too much detail it sounds like it went well
I don't think anyone has ever forgotten that he was a 6th round pick. It practically defines his legacy.
Oh no there was jokes about his hair 😂
when Brady approached Ross, it was totally part of the bit, it was funny, cute and spontaneous, all things Tom is not.
I can't remember exactly but I'm 💯% positive someone else was telling a massage parlor or happy ending joke that I expected to be at Kraft and ended with something that didn't make any sense, like the teleprompter just changed Kraft to something else, plus Ross did ask him if he was ok when he went over to Tom after his set
Halfway through Schultz' set he says "he made sure the only ones getting a happy ending were the priests" when talking about Moss and it just didn't seem right when I heard it live and I think he rewrote it on the fly from it being Kraft into the priests, because priests getting happy endings just doesn't fit anything I can think of🤷🏽♂️ am I reaching?
