Perfection! I could follow this guide and move a world I created with my daughter over several years. Can’t thank you enough! Only issue I had was while using Chunker, the exported file was 0kb. Apparently because the folder I put the mcworld file in was a OneDrive folder. Exporting into a regular folder solved it.
the problem for me is that i cant convert my ps3 worlds to my ps4, they shut this down in 2019 (i think) and they never turned it back on and never once gave me a warning and its super frustrating because ive put so many hours into these massive worlds that were my childhood and now theyre forced to die along with the harddrive.
@@christopherrobinson387 the problem is, once i get my ps3 world onto a usb stick and then to put it on to my ps4, i cant because the legacy version of minecraft is part of minecraft bedrock and is launched from within bedrock, so it wont let me dump my saves onto bedrock because it thinks that the saves are from a different game. even getting that cursed "editions" button to show up on ps4 bedrock was a nightmare and i had to buy a physical copy of the game which now shows up as bedrock edition. i think im just going to give up unless theres another solution but i doubt it.
This works in 2024 🔥 just remember to take your stuff out your inventory, and your ender chests, tools, items, blocks etc. If you put it in a regular chest, it should be fine

Everything went great except unfortunately i dont have any animals on the world anymore - only fish and dolphins but no chickens cows etc. i have villagers in a trading post that i was expecting to be gone from previous comments but no new villagers spawned at the previous village either. any tips?
File conversion isn't working for me. I click to convert world, it does it, but it saves the world, as just the world in bedrock. Still with the Mc bedrock picture on the file. There are 0 sub files inside of it like shown in your folder. When I drop it in my saves folder, no world shows up
while trying to see map dimension or start converting the mao, the app crashes and closes with no further message. i have PS3 maps, yes i setted the config to PS3 convert
i converted it successfullt shown in the video but like he said some stuff got deleted for me my villagers, dogs, items in the enderchest, and my map wall which took a long time to do. So this is where the paid version comes in handy to get those stuff back but idk if ill do that.
Yeah the paid version will fix some of that. Dog "owners" and enderchests probably can't be fixed though, best solution there is to move items out of your enderchest into a regular chest and then back in after converting, same with your inventory. As for the map room, I had that same issue, I spoke to the dev of the paid tool and he told me it's something he's got in the list and is still working on but he'd like for it to be working properly.
All my villagers just reset. Yeah pets ownership is tied to player. Maps does suck but can be redone. Issue I ran into was spawners being broken, which killed my skelly farm 😢

This works, but for the Java edition there are large empty chunks where the border would be on the 360 version. It's normal on bedrock though
this is helpful. i am actually not trying to convert my world to java, but i need to download my world to send it to other people on discord.

This should still work.
You have to use the legacy PS4 version before going to bedrock.

You would have to transfer it from Xbox 360 Edition to Xbox One Edition, and then you can transfer it to Minecraft Bedrock

You try /give command block it will work on Xbox transfer to Java?

Yeah other platforms are easier, e.g. mobile you can just export to a file, but Playstation or Nintendo you'll still need realms.
