They took a while to get here, but they are AWESOME. Transformed my keyboard. Everything about them is better than the Cherry Browns they replaced. I totally love them. THANK YOU!!!!

I've gotta thank you for introducing me to Gamakay switches. I'm new to keyboards and had never heard of them before, but after watching your videos I'm definitely going to change out my new keyboard for Gamakays.
There's just the little matter of deciding which one, first.
Ahh it really depends on what you like. But if you have the money, I'd buy the non silent branded first. Silents are great, but they might not be to your liking given the little rubber feet I talked about. Mercury is my fav!
finding the right switch takes time and lots of testing with/buying multiple kits of switches. i use to be a fan of the cherry clears but as i dipped my toe into the fancier stuff i ended up liking and rocking the azure dragons v3, baby kangaroos, and equalz kiwis. all have been top notch and each board clacks like the best.
i find that yes the noise starts with the switch, it really comes down to the board and how it is dampened to what sound it really makes once assembled.
I hear a lot about the Azure lineup. I think I'll buy a kit see what the hype is about!
You're the one who introduced me to the Pegasus switches. Absolutely the best quiet tactile switch that I use in the office.
I bought Griffins for home, not a big fan. It feels scratchy like an MX brown. Had to switch them out for Gateron beers, best "budget" thocky switches
Great to hear! Like I said, for tactility and silence, the pegasus is golden. The Griffins make a sound and arent as silent which is why its my #4 right now in the lineup. #1 Mercury #2 Phoenix #3 pegasus (For tactility) #4 griffins. Though I like the heavy mars a lot.

How good are Pegasus for gaming? I tried a mechanical keyboard only once and I didn't like how loud it is so it stores dust in my closet. Today I decided to research silent switches because I liked one mechanical keyboard design. So if these switches are good for gaming and also quiet, so they won't be loud in my microphone, I'll buy them.
griffin doesn’t sound as silent as advertised… was it noticeably quieter than the non-silent switches?
If you like SILENT switches then pegasus are for you. They felt amazing and insanely quiet. I took them out the same day, i realize i need some sound lol
How tactile is the mars? have you ever try akko cream blue? are the mars more tactile than the akko?

What’s the difference between Mercury and Jupiter? They sound almost identical
Mercury is lighter and also slightly quieter.
for me, cause i don't like loud keyboards, would be the Phoenix - Linear and Pegasus - Tactile, it's one of the reason's i've never really gotten a mechanical keyboard actually other than the prices of them... i would probably like the heavier one's as well since i am a sloppy typer and never learned to properly use a keyboard so i tend to hit other key's so i feel a heavier one would help against this. mainly learned to type on, i think, a VERY old IBM keyboard where the keys were spaced more than the keyboards now days and i got to use to that so now normal keyboards it's like sloppy typing lol.
So you're the perfect contender for the Pegasus! Phoenix would be way too light and Griffin's too loud.
@@BootSequence yeah i was thinking that same one actually cause it also sounded quieter than the rest. So it's probably perfect for someone like me.
How do people tolerate loud annoying clicking noise?
For some it's a lifestyle 😅
I bought the Pegasus and I don't know how people do it. It's so quiet I had to take them back out

Nope. They're just the only company sending me switches. Khail wanted to send me some, when I told them I wanted to compare them to cherry/gateron/gamakay/dareu switches like I did on my first and second gamakay switch video, they stopped answering.
