I’m solo. Built this base on wipe day the 27th of August on a max pop vanilla server. Just got raided straight through the bottom to core. Lasted one of the longest on the server and the raiders took the loot from the tc area and left without getting the upstairs 6 boxes and the bunker loot. Was a great little base next time I build it I’m going to make the externals a tad bit larger on the outside to hide even more loot in each one so it just looks like honeycomb, one of the downfalls of this base is simply just the lack of storage because of all the triangles, but other than that I was very impressed
@@slangerfps2854 none of the bases he has made with them have a lot of views, most people arent gonna know + you have industrial set up to take loot and swap it between the bunkers
I know symetry rocks, but if a base design is like a porcupine, a full safe backside, and weakness on the front but turrets and defence power on front, so its like a front-back base you can place strategicaly on the map rocks
when you have added the triangle frames on the non bunker secret loot room sides apart from the one which is your entrance, then you build the honeycombe for the second floor. what do these triangle frames with a ladder hatch purpose serve as you have seeled in the roof aswell. i found that following this build video when you had symmetry on was confusing. also please do a more of a full pan around of the base whe you say it should look like this. some people may be better than i am following your style of base build but please cater for the more simply minded people in your guides.
yeah I'm lost at this step currently due to symmetry, fast building speeds and no pan around to find my bearings. I'll figure it out but would definitely help us simple minded builders LOL
Current running the og version. I added AITs hidden turret pods with externals and its been great so far. I like the added helipad on the roof with roof bunkers in this one.

It's around 13k stone and 10k+ metal, 60+ hqm without armor doors. I'm not sure where I went wrong, do you have any idea? How much did your externals cost? Again love the base, just not sure where I messed up
Recommend using a vending machine bunker instead of the window. Vending machine bunkers make it an 8 rocket raid to get TC and there’s space for it in this core. Makes the starter much stronger.

Great base design! Truly one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen allot of bases, believe me. I honestly think this video should be edited to correct the out of order building mistakes and upgrade everything to final build material from the start.
Correct me if i'm wrong but cant you just shoot out the embrasier on 1 of the metal towers with explo ammo, ladder in, then shoot out the garage door with exlo ammo and then 15 rocket the hqm wall and you are in core. Even in tc depending on the side you start raiding?
May i ask? Wiljium didn't have space to place external Tcs, yet he built the base, so does this base require external Tcs to build? Or is it not required, just recommended?
@@zenobryant5192 you should build externals as this is version two of the base, technically you can do one TC if you upgrade the square floor to stone/metal permanently to replace the three triangles at 13:08. Version 1 of the ORYX that Willjum built is another video - which runs off 1 TC
I agree it’s slightly more expensive for a solo, up to your playing style/time commitment. Wanted to change it enough to be a new base vid. But for the extra price, imo it’s defo worth the cost.
@@IndominusRust yeah it’s a little older. It’s called the palisade by dust. It has a great open core but is a little dated and is hard to expand without doing it all at once.
anyone know why when i upgrade walls half of them are backwards and I have to rotate. like when i did the first honey comb one side of the honeycomb would be correct and the right side would be backwards and i have to rotate my walls. Does it on all servers never had it happen before.
Splitting the power supply to the turrets, meaning if raiders come from one side, they only take one battery out which will only cut out 1/3 of your turrets
if you could show the entire build instead of doing the build symmetry, that would be lit. also over look the base everytime you finish honey comb or a floor maybe? i like the slower pace to process whats going on hahah
The symmetrical building makes this hard to follow and you place down walls way too quickly; cutting away which makes this hard to follow what is going on.
Nice base, but please stop noclipping through walls and upgrading/building stuff without giving a clear indication of where you are from a player's perspective. it's really disorienting trying to follow what you're doing in the build part of the video sometimes.

You should do a solo/duo base that has a core similar to the pallaside but is easier to build in phases and has updated features
