The country's air has worsened since 2022, when it was the eighth most polluted country, it added.
Air pollution is a serious problem in several Indian cities.
Experts say that rapid industrialisation coupled with weak enforcement of environmental laws have played a role in increasing pollution in the country.
Delhi depends heavily on its neighbouring States of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh to fulfil its drinking water needs. The capital’s raw water supply comes from four sources with approximately 40% of it coming via Yamuna through Haryana. The raw water is treated in Delhi’s Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) and sent across through its pipelines that covers over 15,000 kilometres.

You should also explain to audience that delhi is not a full state it is an union capital which is nowadays runs by lieutenat governer.every order or scheme is stretched or barriered by LG of delhi.delhi is also capital of our country where pm office and all ministries are situated but centre government is just ignoring these major problems also delhi needs a cooperation between state and centre perhaps dirty political by the side of centre govt by LG and new special package for redevelopment.
Let's wait for 2 - 3 years... We will see where will flooding be in Delhi... Because Kejriwal is doing a long term planning for this... By end of this year... Almost all of the unauthorised colonies will have sewage systems leading to decrease in the level of Yamuna by more than 70% because much of untreated water from Unauthorised areas where 40% of Delhi residents live will be treated before pouring in Yamuna...
Then Water lines in almost all of the areas are being changed... It took a lot of time and will be completed in next 2 to 3 years as it is really a tidious work... With this... New tech will be connected with the water pipelines providing information for the demand and availability of water in each area of Delhi... Leading to better water management...
During Congress era Delhi govt. Had powers like
1) Control over Bureaucracy
2) Control over Police and issues related to Public Order and Land
3) Freedom to make amendments in legislative assembly
With all off this taken off by Modi... Still Delhi govt. Is providing services... which are stopped by LG due to lack of control on bureaucracy

People just don't understand that if LG has taken control over Police Land and everything essential then why all the questions are to be raised on the CM... If he had power he would be accountable... But accountability without providing sufficient power is just a dirty political tactic and shows immaturity of some part of the Public..
