- Houston, we have a problem... In this video, we will repair a super cool Mid-Century, Atomic Space Age counter top 1973 RCA Model AR059Y combination flip clock, AM/FM radio, and TV straight out of 2001 A Space Odyssey or The Jetsens. We'll repair the flip clock and check out the BIZARRE socketed solid state TV electronics. Climb aboard our rocket ship, strap up, and get ready to go...INTO OUTER SPACE!!! See you on the Moon Base.
This unit uses a Copal GG-1617 motor which will almost certainly require cleaning and re-lube if you have a unit with one of these in it. Copal apparently made many different motors for flip clocks such as this, not just RCA.
After publishing this video, I found out this is one of at least THREE known TV models Elvis shot out because of the appearance of Robert Goulet. Here is a listing for an auction of the one just like this Elvis shot and gave to Charlie Hodge:
www.gottahaver...
This is Elvis Presley's miniature RCA TV and radio clock that he gave to his close friend, army buddy and stage director Charlie Hodge. Elvis gave the TV to Charlie one night when Elvis came into Charlie's room at Graceland when he was watching the Johnny Carson show with Robert Goulet performing. Elvis watched about 30 seconds of the performance before pulling out his gun and shooting a hole through the screen, with the bullet exiting out the top. Apparently Elvis had a habit of shooting out any TV screen when the mood struck him if he didn't like a particular show or TV ad! Elvis was laughing quite hard and asked Charlie for a pen. Elvis then proceeded to write on top of the TV, "F--K ROBERT GOULET IF HE CAN'T TAKE A JOKE E.P." in blue ink. He then said to Charlie, "Hell Charlie go sell it it's worth more now anyway!" Measures 13.25 x 9 x 7. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
And here's one he shot out and inscribed to Vester Presley. Apparently Graceland had several of this same model TV in the guest rooms throughout the house and Elvis just took to shooting them one by one. :D
www.worthpoint...
Condition as expected, with a bullet hole and residual loose plastic pieces on the left screen. A larger piece of plastic appears to have been glued back into place near the RCA logo. Inscribed on the top by in pen, " To Lester, Next time open the gate faster! RCA will buy you another one! E.P." CONDITION REPORT SALEROOM NOTICE PROVENANCE Vester Presley (with accompanying letter attesting to its authenticity) EXHIBITED LITERATURE CATALOGUE NOTE "Next time open the gate faster!" Elvis was notoriously trigger happy, and there are numerous anecdotes that have emerged over the years regarding his antics, specifically as they pertain to his longstanding hatred of singer Robert Goulet. The bad blood between the two singers has never been fully explained -- some say it stemmed from a fight over Anita Wood, while others c laim Elvis merely didn't like the way he sang. What we do know is that Elvis purportedly developed a habit of shooting out TVs whenever he saw Goulet singing.Beyond his hatred of the Camelot singer, Presley had a habit of taking his frustrations out on appliances large and small -- he even once shot a car when it wouldn't start. This mini RCA TV was gifted to his uncle Vester Presley (brother of Vernon), who was employed at Graceland as a security guard at the front gate. According to Vester:"RCA provided Elvis with many TVs at Graceland. I had a small one Elvis gave me to watch in the gatehouse. If Elvis didn't have his gate opener and you didn't open the gates fast enough he could lose his patience sometimes. One time I had strayed away from the gate to visit with a fan. Elvis pulled up and I didn't get the gate open fast enough to his liking. Once Elvis pulled into the driveway he came down and saw the TV on and thought I had been watching a show instead of w atching for him. He pulled his gun out and shot my TV. He laughed and I laughed. The next day I took it into Graceland and put it on the kitchen counter. Elvis saw it and signed the top of it to me."

I love the 1973 period correct elevator music.....
Part about the motor was a huge life saver, copied your instructions and it worked like a charm, clocks flipping wonderfully thanks so much dude!
70's bumper music was very clever!! And actually helps (me anyways) during the fast forwards...
haha. Glad to help!
I buy a Toshiba Flip Clock Radio Alarm RC-693F (red). and the time was not working at all. I watch your video and I cleaned the engine as you do. and it WORKS Super good !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH !...
Just a little disappointed we did not get to hear that sweet, sweet alarm go off. I just realized my phone does all these functions. Still would like to hear a guitar through it.
There's a phone jack on the front, I'm sure is an input. The alarm part just turns on the radio. No buzzer.
AH! Yeah, that makes more sense considering the proximity to the speaker.
Very cool find I have 1969 RCA made out of real wood and it still works ( I did replace the main filter cap) and keeps good time
Love the music i close my eyes and it feels like im stuck in a 70s elevator!
I bought an old GE flip clock for about $2 a few years ago, It's my bedroom clock, I like to watch it when all the digits flip at the top of the hour. Really neat piece of old technology.
It had the same problems as the one here. Motor was froze up, but got it running by wiggling the gears back and forth a bit. Didn't have neon bulb to replace the bad one in the clock so I used a couple of red LEDs and ran them directly off AC through a .47uf (200v) cap and a 1k or so resistor.
Good solution on the LEDs.
"that was a joke, by the way" - You are my favorite comedian on youtube
Well ya got the bit moving you wanted so not all that bad in the end. Great video anyway
Dude, I am so glad you like to fool with this stuff because I like to watch. I have a Pioneer QX949 4-channel amplifier/tuner I bought in 1973. I have the schematic - want to take a shot at fixing the "loudness" circuit?
I was 9 years old in 1973 and this is the first time I've seen one of these.. I agree! too cool... I can tell you that anybody that had one in the early 70's was into cutting edge electronics and/or fairly wealthy. these were likely not $$$ cheap... I remember when my uncle bought a Beta video tape player in 1978, it was $1000. which is roughly $3600 in 2017 dollars....
Yeah, this sat in some hoity toity Manhattan apartment or something. This wasn't on Jeb's bedside table down on the farm.
G'day, Brad! Always yield to school buses! Lol!!
Love the way the bassist just stops playing for a few beats in the 'Lift Music' . . . . Yup I'm a bass player on notice this stuff ;-)
Man if I found that thing I would 100% put in the time to make the CRT work, and then get a UHF/VHF to RF converter so i could plug it into a digital converter box and pick up local and news channels to watch in the garage.
That may well be something I do down the road. How cool would it be to watch some old syndicated 60s TV on this...
I would definitely love to watch some Andy Griffith and Beverly Hillbillies on that.
I love the jazz song
Nice job as always. I love seeing old things work again. It is too bad about the TV, but there are no analog signals anymore so not sure what good it would do to fix it. I think the only way to fix it is to directly solder those boards to there contact points and I would hot glue the board you fixed the crack in to the TV tube ring so it doesn't rock around. What fun:)
RCA was notorious for some bad QC on PCB's from Taiwan in those days... it was a recall and refund on many of their domestic and european models. My mom had a set like yours that sat atop her fridge for decades and was watched or had the radio playing mostly everyday for 30 years... Then one day a loud "phittt" w/ smoke and the TV and radio stopped working. It ended up in the garage over my dad's workbench, the clock still worked. My dad found out about the recall thing from a shop named "Radio/TV Hospital". Back then we took our tubes and such to test them at the store.
Sounds like a soundtrack to a David Nice movie!lol
I surely know what elevator music is but soldering music is a new bold concept....
You're supposed to feel really relaxed during those parts...like soldering is a kind of yoga.
the background music is perfect........
Love the cheesey elevator musak...
It appears I'm 4 hours too late. Rock on.
Love the 70's grocery store music lmfao!!!
Cleanup on aisle 7.
the good soldering tips from weller fit into those cheap soldering irons with a little bit of sanding. i love your videos. your ada mp1 video is what brought me to your channel, mine is still in mono operation, but works. maybe one day i can mail it to you to get it fixed, and maybe you can do a very cool demo as you did before. ive prolly watched your mp1 demo 10 times. brings me back to being 18 again.
The 'smooth' jazz had me rolling on the floor! I used to have a similar clock radio with the flip clock.....drove me nutz... When you can't sleep, you hear every minute flip away... Find a Nixie Tube clock/radio, you can add a 1/4" input and jam when your suffering from insomnia!!!
What I like about flip clocks is they keep the correct time if you have a brief power failure.
I agree Brad, I have a 1968 Zenith electric alarm clock on my night stand for just that reason. It will most likely keep working for another century.
molson12oz Don’t worry, imported goods will soon be just as expensive as American made if the president puts his huge tax on imports.
Agreed. Thanks for the comments.
Loving the elevator music!
I was an electronics tech for a Nasa lab for 15 years. Some of the younger techs would give me the raised eyebrow when I started slapping around a malfunctioning electronic device. I'd actually read somewhere, in some long-forgotten repair manual that a good smacking about could be beneficial and could expose loose connections, opens and shorts. I knew this already, as my Dad was also an electronics tech in his younger years. It wasn't long afterward I'd hear someone else at his station, giving a scope the ol' smackeroo.
I'd start on the TV by re-doing the solder joints on the flyback transformer. That's a pretty common failure point. Also, on any device that goes though thermal cycles (the big transistor, etc.)
When I was a kid(mid 70's),I always wanted one of these.Sadly, they cost the equivalent of $900 in today's money.
I've never seen an original ad or catalog, but I knew it must have been expensive.
Ha, that was funny, I was thinking I was in Emmitt’s Fix It Shop in Mayberry when you started smacking it and the tv came on... oops, showing my age, I’m sure no one remembers Mayberry RFD and Emmett Clark, MayBerry’s Infamous Handyman. He could beat on just about anything and make it work. He was my hero, just like Brad.
One of my all time favorite shows.
im 36 and you just made me feel 80. hahah
thats how i found this looking for a clip of Emmitt's ability to fix anything! LOL
AHHHH YESSS!long live CCR
this would be an ideal candidate for a futuristic retro build, maybe put an lcd and home amplifier in it.
It could def be improved upon, but I intend to use this one as is.
there really is an effect to whacking the TV on the top!
Heehee. I bet Mrs Guitologist will be overjoyed to have that on her bedside table. Speaking of which,....... you will need a pretty large bedside table ......!
I fix it...she dusts it in perpetuity.
Take the CRT and associated circuitry out and replace it with a modern LED or LCD portable screen - you can always cut a new bezel out of plastic or cartridge paper to fit the replacement screen and make it look professional.
It's an idea, but I'd sooner fix it correctly, just because of the collectability factor. I'm sure I could trace out the problem if I spent more time with it. One thing was I didn't want to break a CRT pin trying to pry that socket off there.
I suspect the first daughterboard with the dodgy edge connector that is the problem - it is possibly still loose - try using a bulldog clip or an alligator clip to hold it together. Good luck anyway - I'm jealous you have access to such great products.
Extreme stereo moment starting at 1:19 - nice! Goes guns all in at 12:24 on an exposed 1973 CRT *with* class (?) ring still on - guts! Please be careful - I am a fan of your vids, sir.
GREAT selection of 🎶 music there, with CCR at 5:22. Pearl 🎸 Jam at 5:45 with "Last Kiss". This song was a real blast in 1999, when I had the 👧 girlfriend of a lifetime, only to find out that she did me wrong. I found one of these flip ⏰ clocks at a yard sale in 1993, when I lived with my parents in Anchorage, Alaska. The set itself was $20.00, but, for some reason, I didn't buy it. 👍 Well, yes, I do, the picture tube was 👎 bad, and I found out that it was going to cost me $500.00 to replace it. This was a time when electronic repair shops, and CRT (picture tube, that is)rebuilders were still plentiful. All we have 👎 nowadays, is really nice garbage that we buy, and throw it away in 5 years or less. Gone are the Good Old Days, electronic repair shops and CRT rebuilders. CRT actually stands for "Cathode Ray Tube". These flip ⏰ clocks are from the good old days, and I'm going to grab onto as many as I can, if they're in 👍 great shape, and the radio works without ⛈"thunderstorming" when the volume knob is turned. New looking ⏰ clocks, fine. DeOxit will fix it. "Katrina Flood" looking ⏰ clocks, I will pass ☝up, they're junk. Motors are an exception on good looking ⏰ clocks. We understand they're old, and the motor needs cleaning and lubrication to 🏃 run again. Your friend, Jeff.
Maybe you need a Coggswell cog?
It intrigues me that when you fiddle with vintage stuff, vintage stuff comes out.
You could natch the tv part and build a box for the working radio as a seperate unit. Maybe some nixie tubes.
Could do that, but I won't. :D
This unit will be a functional bedside clock radio for me, but also a cool conversation piece. I'll never use the TV part, but it does look pretty cool.
I got this really good plastic polish from Griot's Garage. Maybe you should try that stuff on the clear face. I plan to use it on my old telephones and motorcycle helmet visor lenses.
Add a jack ! When the alarm wakes you , plug a guitar in and practice in bed .
It's got a jack in the front! Missed opportunity to plug my guitar into that and try it. Maybe I'll do a short vid with guitar later. :P
ok there shango. HAHAHAHA cheers brad ;-)
Shango would have found this in the desert somewhere, knocked a bit of rat shit out of it and turned it on til it caught fire...THEN he would have fixed it just good enough to make the video and prove he can do it. That dude is awesome. My wife hates his voice and bitches every time I put him on.
They will be selling these in Hot Topic on day.
At least it picks up the Eddie Vedder Yodeling Channel...
6:53 .. I looked back at my screen and we were def on the same page. Loving your vids - ever think about doing a live repair or test of something special? Keep up the great work man! :)
Hell yeah, man. Had to strap on the air guitar for that one.
You could do with a set of micro sockets for the small nuts. Would be better that pointed pliers!
I have a small set somewhere around here. Sometimes the best tool for the job is the one that's within arm's reach. ;)
The elevator music reminds me of the sex ed videos from the 70s that our broke ass school showed us in the 90s.
Hey Brad. I was watching the video and right at the 4:55-4:56 mark I seen some sort of anomaly on the clock/TV/radio as you were tuning it. It looks like some sort of sparks, glittery something, maybe the camera, (maybe it was trying to suck you back in time) go watch it just between the tv and the base.... wEiRd!
Damn, I was waiting for you to plug a guitar into that thing!! That type of flip clock was used in the movie Groundhogs Day and Bill Murray would wake up at the same time every day to "I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher. So be careful with that clock radio, you may end up in a time loop too ! ;-)
What about a guitar amp with a DSP processing section to give more options and display the details about the mode on the CRT, those motors are found in the timer controller of washing machines.
I would Switch the CRT out for an Modern LCD TV Cheap easy and Safer than having that old 6KV Circuit in there..My older brother was a TV Repairman in the late 60's to 80's . The All tube Color TV is the most complicated electronic device ever made.. I have help him glue together many TV circuit boards with CA glue and Jumpers.
You're clearly way more experienced on TV stuff than I. I'm just a hack in a TV. If it ain't something simple, I probably won't be messing with it. I'm open to learning though.
Brad, Your vids are classic. I truly thought you were going to pick up President Richard Nixon speaking about the war on the radio instead you tune into the Danger Zone / Top Gun crap. Slapping the side of the unit to get the tv to work to me back to when I was a kid, when watching our Curtis Mathis console tv my dad would yell at us to kick the side of the tv when the picture would go into Close encounters of the third kind. You probably guess what was next if that didn't fix the issue. Run outside and turn the pole to the antenna until I heard stop. Btw your shopping - put on hold music made me Lmao. Can't believe there is two dislikes. Glad their not my neighbor. Curtis
Thanks for the comment. Glad you dig the channel. My folks got a satellite dish around 1985 or so. We also watched broadcast TV and I know all the motions well. Moving the rabbit ears was an art. You didn't tune them in where you were with your hand on them, you tuned them in where they'd need to be when you were across the room in your seat. :D
first thing we`d do is run 3 ft splt wire for an fm antenna. one maybe for the am band but, we could usually get ok am for sports game listening
Brad.. haven't chimed in here yet but wanted to express my gratitude for all your videos. I am learning so much from some of your repairs.. my lab is nearly operational and I have a line of gear to fix. Question: do you own a chassis cradle for when you need to work on an amp chassis without setting it down on a surface where the various dangling components might get damaged?
Should solder gun that plastic socket, like spot weld it into place then maybe hot glue, melted plastic sometimes holds way better than hot glue
Can you provide some guidance on the specs of the replacement bulb?
I was lucky enough to find the 1975 version of this flip clock needing only minor mechanical tweaks that were within my skill set (huge thanks to this awesome video!) with the exception of the bulb - I'm horrid at electrical stuff. Thanks!
Need a digital converter box and antenna...it will work fine.
I forgot to tag on that I 👍 like that song at 6:15. It is "The Night The Lights Went out In Georgia", by Vicki Lawrence. This 📺 TV flip ⏰ clock 📻 radio is definitely from my time. That song was written in 1973. I bet if I bought this ⏰ clock from ya, I think I'd be lucky enough, that these songs will someway be pre-programmed into it,😆 LOL!! Don't worry about the motor being 🔥 burned out on these things. 99 times out of 100, they aren't. They simply run dry of lubrication through the years of spinning, and ✋ stop spinning. This clock could sit on your counter for 30 years, with the motor getting the juice, but 👎 not running. Rubbing 🍸 alcohol works to clean the motor of old lubrication. Just don't have it 🔌 plugged in, and get shocked, or start a 🔥 fire. I calculated that these motors spin in the neighborhood of 532.000 revolutions per day, but I'm probably 👎 not exactly correct. Please 👌 keep making GREAT flip ⏰ clock videos. Your friend, Jeff.
Turn into guitar amp and show jam tracks on TV
we didnt get to hear if the alarm worked or not lol
I did a clip at the end but didn't use it because the alarm doesn't buzz, it just turns on the radio, and the song was a Rolling Stones song, which I know will get flagged.
That jazz....
Made me turn the volume down and captions on
I just got one of these. The CRT worked, just needed a converter and some playing with VHold and HHold. It is finicky, will have to clean up the contacts of the rotating dials. Awesome piece, I'll see if your trick works for the clock which is no working. It looks very nice, but its state is not as good as yours :(
Also: I don't think it is a good idea to touch a CRT tube so casually without gloves like you do. Small one like this is maybe not too bad, but still I won't try it out for sure :P
Incredibly, the bulb worked on mine! Still would be interested on the specs of the one you used.
I found out later that this is the TV that Elvis shot out when Robert Goulet was on it. Piece of 70s history! Hold onto it.
Using my cell phone as an alarm to wake up? Fuck that, I just use my chickens. They sleep in the bed with me, and they scream at me when it's time to wake up. They're pretty reliable, but they seem to be withholding eggs from me for some reason. Maybe they don't like me.
Good to hear someone on the '70s radio speaking up for the patriarchy. USA didn't put a woman on the moon. No siree, they were needed in the kitchen.
Someone had to feed those brave men.
Lolz
I love the theme music, where did you find it?
26.45
Then put your little hand in mine
There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb
Babe
I got you babe
You should take the tv out and put a little fish tank in with a light on top
You know the 3 women that watch your videos are smart enough not to be offended by jokes.
Bradley's Angels never get offended.
I wonder if they're smart enough to make me a sandwich? :D
Love the elevator music.. Lol
should have been the Girl from Ipanema
Well spotted! This was a royalty free track on UA-cam called "Ipanema Daydream".
Fun Fact - The Jetsons only lasted one season. It takes place in the year 2062, but was based off a book written about 1975.
www.metv.com/lists/12-far-out-things-you-never-knew-about-the-jetsons
Interesting that a show made in 1962-63 could be based on a book from 1975. :D
Respect WHAMEN people
..........careful with them flip alarms, y'know what happened to Bill Murray.....
A PENCIL ERASER USED ON ALL OF THE BOARDS WHERE THEY MAKE CONNECTIONS TO THE SOCKETS WOULD PROBABLY FIX IT . EX TV GUY . I USE CAPS - EYE TROUBLE
HOT GLUE = MALUBLE DUCT TAPE! ROFLMFAO sux about tom petty :-(
It did the trick. :D
And yeah, RIP Tom Petty.
Lana. Lana! LANA!
WHAAAAT?
Daannnger Zone!
RAMPAGE!!!!! LEAVE IT MOTHER! BAABOO!!!! ROFLMAO
idk if you still do these repaurs but my hrs clock funtion is busted and i needs some help please
15:50 that's what she said
Thats why i stopped listening to Classical awhile back. Its nothing like it used to be. Lol
:D Glad someone got that joke. I was worried it wasn't as funny as I thought.
Someone gave it too many wallops and cracked the boards..Ben Heck the crap outta it..Take that tv out and use the space for better speakers. or a car audio cd player with usb so you could load mp3..or even even some cheap android tv or touchscreen tablet..anything but leave a broken tv in there :) that would drive me nuts?? make use of the space somehow...I'd swap out the old speakers at the bottom and get it sounding good too.
Dear friend I has old panasonic RC-6005b need repair please cold you help to find manual servive of this radio, sorry .
"Supposedly" landed on the moon.
But, we destroy that technology and it's been painful to build it back up. ~NASA Astro-not Don Pettit
NASA is an Iluminatti company... they lie about everything space related
NASA is all about ciphening tax dollars off into projects that can be inflated so a few accountants can redirect the funds to whatever they want. A billion dollars to "go to the moon" becomes " a million dollars to produce a film about going to the moon on a soundstage and use the remaining money to fight covert wars".
Bu, hey, I'm just crazy. What do I know.
Dammit Brad! Your reckless use of pliers on little nuts is infuriating. I would send you a set of nut drivers, but I have a feeling you'd still use the pliers.
And film its self blasting of the moon too. just like nasa did lol
Time lapse music,,,, picture someone in an elevator wearing plaid flared bottom pants smoking their 100 mm cigarette.
I can see it.
Did you Short Out the CRT? Those things carry 1KV Per Inch diagonal screen measurement. That one looks around 6KV.
Where did you ever hear that nonsense!? The high voltage used by CRTs has nothing to do with screen size. It's usually 25 kV for color CRTs and 12 to 16 kV for black & white CRTs. And no, it won't kill you unless you go sticking your fingers where they don't belong while it's turned on. As soon as you turn it off, the bleeder resistor discharges the CRT within seconds.
this radio recive the 70's radio stations ???
No, but climb inside it and blast off into outer space, find a wormhole to take you 40 45 light years away, and then it will receive radio stations from the 70s.
wow ... i don t think i have the money for do that ... and you need to give me your radio :-)
TV doesn t works cause of digital brodcasting no ? the tuner arn t outpassed ?
Dude you'll probably get a copyright strike.... But you're living in the danger zone I guess :)
I was taking the highway less traveled.
Problem with the TV is that it only accepts an analog signal, but it's all digital now, even broadcast stuff. Unless there was an RCA jack in the back, even if the TV worked, it wouldn't accept any modern TV signals.
There are still some analog TV stations on the air, including quite a few on Channel 6 that are acting as FM radio stations, since the audio carrier of a Channel 6 TV signal can be tuned in at 87.7 MHz on an FM radio.
Really? Because it's pretty well documented that, in America at least, analog signals were outlawed around 2009 due to the Digital Transition and Public Safety Act. Are there some rogue stations emitting analog signals? I guess, if you say so, but yeah, the FCC formally ceased all analog transmissions awhile ago. Not trying to put you on blast or anything, and if you're still getting getting analog transmissions, good for you, but those stations shouldn't be operating.
Just brushing up on it again, and yeah, looks like some low powered signals were still allowed to broadcast up to 2015, but anyone still broadcasting within the USA is technically breaking the law.
The 2015 deadline for analog LPTV stations to convert to digital has been indefinitely suspended, allowing them to remain analog: www.commlawblog.com/2015/04/articles/broadcast/digital-transition-deadline-for-lptvtv-translators-officially-suspended/
Crap, it would take a lot of work to get that little TV going. HDTV's will do it more dude. But to get the TV going to watch local TV you need a lot of crap then it wont look right.
Tell me you grounded the flyback transformer/tube before you started poking around the tube with your bare fingers?!
No voltage present on any pins. Apparently there's a bleeder resistor in there that bleeds everything off.
With all those plugin modules no wonder you have poor connections
Ummm... The TV does not receive digital signals. Seriously?
Mötley Jue yeah, wouldn't he need a digital tuner/receiver?
Sham the set didn’t fire up!
Those boards really need to be taken out one by one, recapped, pins tensioned and cleaned on the sockets, solder probably needs reflowed on the main board around those sockets. Just a lot of extra work for someone who isn't intending on using the TV. But yeah, I was hoping it would come up at the end there.
How much is it worth?
Don't know. Maybe $80-$100.
Here's a pointless idea.. how about you take out that old CRT and wire up a small 4:3 LCD?
Or even BETTER.. Rip out the insides, change the switches inside, change the screen to a smal LCD, insert rasberry pi, Install internet radio, find some way to sync the flip clock with the internal Rpi clock, change the light tube with an white LCD xD (yeah.. this IS a lot of work and stupendously dumb, but hell.. if you could do it, i'd LOVE to see a video about it)
Anyone who believes Nixon actually talked to men that were on the moon 239,000 miles away in 1969 ought to have their head,,,er, ought to do only 20 mins of research on the subject. That's about all it takes to figure out we've been punked.
The earth is also flat. Tongue so firmly in cheek my jaw aches.
"Punking" is actually in the official CIA job description.
