    Just started getting into fests last month and I’ve already been to 3 with 2 more coming up (Breakaway Carolina and BOO! Seattle). This shit is insane and I love it so much.
    I’ve also had COUNTLESS people ask me where I learned my moves from and I always direct them to your channel/ shuffle vault cause it’s where I’ve learned everything so far.
    Thanks for doing what you do! :)

    This is so fun to hear! I live very close to where Tomorrowland is held and didn't think much of how big it actually is and how far people travel to experience this festival.

    I absolutely appreciate you taking the time to do this honest review. Being from Florida, EDC Orlando is the main music festival I do with a bit smaller of a music fest in SMF(Sunset Music Festival in Tampa) being the only other fest I have done. I have always wanted to experience Tomorrowland, even before doing my first fest. Even after your review I would love to experience it at least once but I am pretty sure I would prefer to camp after hearing what you had to say and do what you did and turn it into a Euro-trip ending with Tomorrowland. As far as there not being many shuffle dancers, like you said the place was packed, how many areas were there that there was the room to actually dance??? Anyway thank you for everything Emylee 😀I definitely appreciate all you do for the shuffle dance/music fest communities.

      You’re so kind 🥰 I’m glad it was helpful, I’d definitely say camping if you can figure out the logistics would make everything easier. And ofc super fun. But honestly we are pretty spoiled with a lot of the festivals we have here. So it made me super grateful for that ❤

    I’ve always thought about going to Tomorrowland but it disappoints me that you barely saw shuffle dancers🥺 I love to always find the shuffle community in the festivals and dance with everybody!

    On a much smaller scale, I find it surprising how rare it is to see shufflers at any dance club, whether edm or no

    I feel like as shufflers we appreciate music first, space and atmosphere. So if you takeaway the first two were like mehhh 😆

    Love this review. Really thorough and very interesting. I do lots of festivals so it's great to hear such feedback. Funny you should mention Eats Everything and Patrick Topping as I was actually side-stage with them this weekend at a small UK festival called Borderlands. Lovely to hear such great feedback about these guys. They are incredible on stage.
    Anyway, great work and very fine content. Thanks for doing it.

    I was also at Eric Prydz! We had to stand upstairs because it was so crowded. I really enjoyed Kolsch before though.

    It’s no fun to be packed all the time and not have much space. I would be so excited about the food though. 😅
    We had that same experience with Uber at Beyond. It was bad. There were so many people waiting and trying to connect and get an Uber in the pick up area. We ended up with one of those drivers we haggled a little with too…so we didn’t have to stay and wait any longer.

      @EmyleeRatzlaff  Рік тому

      Yeah ugh Ubering at festivals just ain’t it. But yes the food is INCREDIBLE. I was honestly shocked haha. I’d eat any of those stands on the daily, not just at a music fest

    You are missing 35% of the festival by staying at a hotel. The pre set up tents at Dreamville are incredible. Also, they had an after party once the festival ended…. I agree about Freedom stage. Too crowded. The best stage was the Core, best music, vibes and setting!

    i love your honesty and how you describe the experience! Thank you!!
    Adam Beyer actually saved us from an bad experience at Ezoo 2022 - he is perfection. Glad he saved your experience there too🫶🏼 (sorry to everyone this past year at ezoo in nyc seemed like the worst ever)
    have you ever made a similar video about Coachella? have you been? I’d only assume you have since you’re in CA but just found your page very recently.
    I loved Coachella with all of my being and I thought I’d look into Tomorrowland thinking it would be even better but maybe not! Also camping 1000% changes the experience of any festival no question. I’ve only been once to Coachella and camped - the magic is because it’s all immersive for the entire time and the experience just keeps going through the weekend and doesn’t feel separated by travel ling back and forth and things like that - plus after parties and extra stages at camp into the night! I bet Tomorrowland has that too, Id be surprised if not.
    Have been looking at Creamfields for next year as a big abroad festival instead of Tomorrowland and felt on the fence but now I’m 100% okay not rushing to go to Tomorrowland.

      adam beyer always here to save the day 😂❤
      I haven’t been to Coachella! Personally, I don’t have a big desire to, but never say never. But I agree re: camping making the experience immersive and better!
      I’ve always wanted to go to creamfields too!! I hope you go and have the time of your life :)

    • @clairee.mercier7652
      @clairee.mercier7652 Рік тому

      Totally understand that!! Coachella is incredibly well organized in my opinion you get what you pay for completely. And we just stayed at the electronic tent most of the time and went to a lot of the late night sets that were more DJ sets and then hit up the big stages only for some real faves in other genres! Our main set was Hot Chip 😵‍💫🥵 best ever. They get goood artists can’t argue with that
      Only headliner we saw was Swedish House Mafia because that last minute change last year made my soul sing, come ON😂🎉 Actually watching their Tomorrow land set on youtube was my first ever real connecting experience into loving electronic music and diving in. Full circle
      Only big issue was one of the main electronic stages was impossible to get in cuz it was indoors and filled so quickly - similar to what you saw there I assume. We got in one time only and it was just too packed. Outside is where it’s at for crowd management for sure.

    EDC is a complete mess : no reception, overpriced drinks, mediocre food, camping in the desert is hell and the commute to/from hotel zone is absolutely horrid. Yea there are shufflers at edc but the crowd is more stiff and more reckless drug users. TML is king because of the International aspect and bonding with other people unfortunately you didn't do the camping experience which not only includes the welcome party but also the ease of rest/relax for the long days ahead

    If you have been to any of the big psy trance festivals, how would you say Tomooroland is different? Im thinking on the irresponsible acts and drinking.

    Tomorrowland should not be in an abomination called 'belgium'. Anywhere but Belgium. Or the UK.
